Canada Demographics Part IV in World ·
Hey there! So, I was recently visiting some family down in Mobile—I'm Canadian, by the way—and while I was hanging out at my aunt's place, I finished up some medical training. No offense intended to anyone here, but I realized I was looking at a literal paradise of talent; it feels like at least 80% of the medical students down in Mobile are just waiting for their chance to pack up and head over to Germany once they graduate.

Hey everyone, does anyone have any solid, reliable data on how many Americans are leaving Canada each year? I’ve heard some estimates floating around suggesting the number might be somewhere between 10,000 and 12,000. If anyone can provide a factual answer without all the unnecessary noise, I’d really appreciate it! 😛
Advice needed for a major life transition, thanks! in Psychology & Therapy ·
Hey everyone, hope you're all doing well. I'm 23 years old and just finished my degree. To be honest, I chose my major because I truly loved the subject, but looking at the job market, there's just zero career growth—it was a liberal arts program back home in Canada. On top of that, I just went through a massive heartbreak; I was in a long-term relationship for five years, and she was my entire world. We ended things recently after she finished her pharmacy degree and met someone else who she felt was a better fit for her future. Right now, life is pretty heavy—I'm living alone while caring for my sick mother. It feels like I'm navigating this fog without much guidance, especially since I only have two close friends to lean on. Given how tough the economy is across the US right now, I’ve been thinking about enrolling in a part-time engineering program. Even if it only gives me a tiny 3% chance at a stable career, it feels worth it. How do I find my footing, stay motivated when everything feels so stagnant, and eventually find someone to share my life with again?

Thanks so much for listening... I don't really have anyone else I can turn to for advice.
