America sees about 10 million foreign tourists every single year. If you look at those numbers, it’s almost a mathematical certainty that someone, somewhere, is going to get killed. Purely from a statistical standpoint. On a human level, of course, it's a tragedy. But trying to turn one isolated incident into a massive scandal that calls our entire tourism industry into question? That’s just shallow, small-minded nonsense.
