And?
I can show you the path, but you actually have to walk it...!
Please, spare me the rhetoric... 🙂
Ugh, I feel like I've read this exact sentence about religion a thousand times already...
And? Is there something wrong with that? Some people need comfort more than anything else in the world...!
Pffft, that comparison is a total disaster, even if I guess I see where you're coming from... But, I suppose what you're trying to say is that there's something deeply pathetic about someone acting like they're going to Mass when they're actually just high on drugs. It’s just sad.
So, you’re suggesting that Mass and prayer just provide a sense of false happiness? I guess that’s one way to look at it, maybe.
When it comes to drugs, I suppose I can agree with that half-sentence... But as for meat? Please, don't even try to make me laugh.
Look, after a statement like that, I guess there isn't much left for us to talk about.
Are you even listening to yourself right now?
Whatever... I didn't even bother reading the rest of that. Look, I'll just tell you this much: the CHURCH IS THE HOUSE OF GOD! Amen! It isn't some mere building or whatever else you're rambling about. So, maybe take your "wisdom" somewhere else instead of dumping it on me... and keep your frustrations to yourself, too.
Excuse me? You claimed you provide COMFORT through prayer.... Comfort is a lie, a way to cloud the truth..... a church that splurges on luxury offers COMFORT THROUGH WORDS AND PRAYER to those struggling in poverty. Fortunately, it seems humanity is slowly evolving mentally, because statistics show fewer and fewer people are buying into that fake COMFORT.
It’s funny how every House of God needs ceilings at least twenty-five feet high, how massive amounts of cash are poured into them, yet that very same church hasn't built a single homeless shelter. It's easy to toss around empty platitudes instead of showing actual mercy through actions.
In fact, you just violated a fundamental Christian principle in your response to me—mercy, love for thy neighbor—because, my dear, your reply was incredibly angry, arrogant, and abrasive.... it's practically a textbook example of the first deadly sin according to the Bible (pride).. see how contradictory you Christians are? As long as nobody asks the questions that itch, as long as nobody sees through the point you hide behind pretty words, you're all full of tenderness, compassion, and mercy. But the moment someone catches on, you turn hostile and forget every principle of loving your neighbor. It's exactly what I was saying—you proved the opposite of your own teachings by how you act. In a courtroom, they'd say, "no further questions"😂
You basically said it all yourself, and for any intelligent person, your arrogant tone is more than enough to understand the whole picture.🙂
