There’s a massive difference between being there for your kid when they hit a snag and spending an absolute lifetime obsessing over every single detail of their academic roadmap... to me, that level of hyper-focus on "optimizing" a child's education just feels like parental overreach.
I honestly don't see the upside here, and I can't help but think that this constant "there's always room for improvement" mindset just ends up breeding a lot of unnecessary frustration in a kid...
Always chasing that impossible standard of perfection isn't exactly great for someone's mental health, you know?
It really makes me wonder what kind of person that child might actually become if they weren't being constantly steered by such intense, overwhelming involvement... 🤔
