They even go as far as to claim that essential components have been stripped from specific prayers, particularly regarding the actual instructions on how one is supposed to pray.

As I’ve mentioned before, their contention is that we are required to already feel a sense of peace and connection within ourselves if we expect our prayers to be fulfilled or heard.
When I really sit with that thought, it actually makes quite a bit of sense, doesn't it? After all, if we are truly asking for something, shouldn't we already possess the faith that it has already come to pass?

Which scientists are we even talking about here? Give me a link or a real reference already!
As far as I know, everything they "tossed out" was basically just the Gnostic Gospels and those random apocrypha.

That stuff didn't even get cut... seriously. 🙂

Just ask for it and believe you already got it. It’s that simple! Mark 11:24. Believe it. Just do it.

Just walk with faith and stop second-guessing everything. If you're constantly wavering, you're just like a damn wave getting tossed around by the ocean. Don't even think about expecting anything from the Lord if you're that indecisive. People with shaky souls who can't pick a lane end up getting nothing. Stop being such a flake! If you’re praying, actually mean it. You can't just flip-flop between wanting God and doubting Him like you're indecisive about where to grab lunch. That kind of double-mindedness is useless—it’s like trying to ride a wave while constantly jumping off the board. Pick a side and stick to it!

As far as I know, every one of those Royces was actually given as a gift, and his students were often quite wealthy people, judging by the value of those offerings. Every one of these figures comes with some kind of controversy, but at the end of the day, what matters is the spiritual legacy left behind—the books, the teachings, the philosophy. It’s about how much someone can actually contribute to your spiritual growth.

He definitely made an impact, sure. His work has some solid lessons and concepts mixed in with a bunch of shady, questionable crap. 🙂

And the guy pushed some seriously messed up ideas too, like euthanizing kids with physical or mental disabilities... 🤷

The guy is Bodhidharma—a lion, pure fire, that's just who he is. I've actually gone through two of his books, including tantra supreme understanding, which made perfect sense to me. I've got it as a PDF.

Look, I actually read three of his books before all the drama surrounding him and his work broke out, especially back in Oregon when he set up that whole follower base of his.

"During the 80s, Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh, known as Osho, started a cult in Oregon. His communities were called Rajneeshpuram.
The Indian mystic was a smooth talker who preached spirituality and love, but he had a massive weakness for Rolls-Royce cars. His followers have been linked to several terror attacks, and they allegedly poisoned the local Oregon population with salmonella." (From: The Strangest Cults and Sects of the 20th Century).

Osho was such a shady fox. He had no clue that God is way more immediate and important than he let on, and that love is the whole foundation for reaching Godhood.

Watch out for Osho and his crap—he’s already been exposed as a dangerous fraud and a total manipulator:

Before he was Osho

Some stuff in his books is actual wisdom, sure, but most of it is just fake deep. It's all rigged to tell people exactly what they want to hear—because that's when people are at their weakest and most vulnerable—just so he could rack up followers and grab power and cash.

Man, forget about trying to understand women!!!
You can only feel them!!!

And if your heart is crooked, women will just get even worse for you!!!

My bad, guys 😉

That's exactly the whole point!
It’s a total toss-up—on one hand you've got all this insane potential for pleasure, but on the other, it's just pure misery and suffering.

Look, if you ask me, you gotta rise above that whole "pleasure vs. pain" BS to actually get anywhere spiritually. It's all about moving past those basic feelings.
Man, it's a struggle, I swear to God...

Benjamin Taylor6 said:Maybe my distant cousin is a sort of undercover female teacher. He’s a professor at a local school, makes a decent salary (he's 54), isn't married, and still lives with his parents. But he loves swiping candy bars from big-box retailers like Walmart. Mind you, he’s never actually been caught. But he doesn't do it because he craves the chocolate; he does it strictly as a protest against the sheer power held by these massive retail chains. 😢😲😁

My first post of the year, so: HAPPY NEW YEAR 2013 TO EVERYONE!

Honestly, it’s no surprise that followers of Islam don't have much love for Christians. I mean, let’s be real—the Christian version of paradise is completely devoid of sex, 😁
which is a pretty hard sell compared to what they're promised in Islam.

Man, if you convert to Islam, you're looking at a seriously wild sex life...
just think about what that kind of paradise means for some shy guy who's totally repressed... 😛

Michael Roberts9 said:Everyone’s gonna end up as an angel eventually, it’s written 🙂 but I can't find the source right now 🙂

My head's a bit scrambled, but we're all returning to God—I definitely pulled that from some quote somewhere 😁

An angel is just someone who reaches perfection. Who knows if they'll even need a wife at that point 🙂

Jesus said: "The people of this age marry and are given in marriage. But those who are deemed worthy of the age to come and of the resurrection from the dead neither marry nor are given in marriage. Truly, they can no longer die: they are equal to Angels and are children of God because they are children of the resurrection." (Luke 20:34-36)
