Actually, it does—if one simultaneously claims that Albanian and Romanian evolved from the same root. In that case, the linguistic proximity would be key; however, Romanian and Albanian aren't just separate languages—they belong to entirely different branches of the Indo-European family (Romanian being Romance, while Albanian is... well, in a category of its own, I suppose)
