Changes or growths on eyelids? in Health ·
So I just went to see a dermatologist and the guy tells me straight up that these things are just little fatty tissue deposits, then schedules an appointment to have them cleared out using some ultrasound machine. Most likely that's what it is, we'll see. But honestly, if there's one thing I've learned from experience, it's that whenever you walk into a specialist's office—no matter what they actually do—they’re always going to claim the issue falls squarely within their specific field. Like, I recently dealt with this crazy rash and saw a couple of different experts; first a dermatologist, then an allergist, and that first doctor practically swore on his life that it was an allergy and proceeded to jab me in the arm and the backside like a complete maniac with two different injections, only for the second dermatologist to tell me it was just a skin tag and handed me some random cream to rub on it. So yeah... I'd honestly rather take my chances with anything else than trust any of those guys. Most doctors are just total idiots. That's why I decided to come here and ask you all, because I feel like I can get more actual truth from this group than from any of those professionals. Can I just snap a photo of it and post it here?

wiredcanyon2 said:Hey there. This could actually be xanthelasma, which are those little bumps that pop up specifically where you described on people dealing with high cholesterol. I’d definitely suggest hitting up your primary care doctor for some basic blood work, especially a full lipid panel, just to see if your cholesterol or triglycerides are running too high. If they are, your doctor will probably put you on some meds to get those levels down, and honestly, that’s huge because leaving high cholesterol unchecked is a fast track to a heart attack or a stroke. Best,

Thanks a ton. I was lowkey thinking it might be from some cream I've been using lately, since I noticed these things started showing up right around the time I began slathering it on all the time...

Hey everyone, I’ve got these weird little bumps popping up on my upper eyelids, they look somewhat like tiny warts but you can tell they aren't actually warts because they're soft and honestly feel more like fatty tissue since the stuff inside shifts around when I press them. Has anyone else dealt with this crap or does anyone know what could be causing this to happen?
I'm talking three on one eye and two on the other...
Hey guys, does anyone know how to get rid of those annoying red squiggly lines that pop up while you're typing? I know they won't show up on the hard copy, but I need them gone because I'm sending out my resume and I need everything to look flawless.

Later
hey guys, I just finished my resume and I need to get it sent out tomorrow, but now I'm staring at all these stupid red squiggly lines under my text. What do I do to make them go away? I have no clue why they're even showing up...

they're popping up right here while I'm typing too 🙂)) lol seriously, what even is this???
Brain tumor diagnosis/discussion in Health ·
So I started seeing this girl, right? Ten days in, she drops the bomb that she’s got a brain tumor and has been grinding through meds for three years straight just to keep it in check. She told me when they first caught it three years ago, it was about 9 millimeters, then it shrunk down to 7 millimeters after two years, and apparently, it’s stayed at 7 millimeters since her last checkup six months ago. I didn't want to grill her too hard since we're still basically strangers, so I just played it cool and moved on from the subject.

But honestly, I’m looking for some insight here—does anyone actually know if it’s even possible to tell if a thing like that is malignant or benign based on how it acts?
I know I'm being vague as hell, but can you even treat a malignant tumor with just pills or whatever...
