GPU Buying Guide - (Read first post) in Desktops ·
Then you're probably living in the future. Just tell me one thing: will an AMD Radeon R9 290 work 100% on that Motherboard? I’m a little shaky when it comes to processors and sockets, but when it comes to graphics cards, I haven't got a clue how it all works.

It’s a solid match for your CPU and power supply. You're actually lucky that this is the only line from MS Industrial that isn't total junk (since they use FSP Group components) 😬

Will that R9 fit on that Motherboard? I don't want Bratić to pick it up only to realize later it doesn't work—that's a lot of money to waste, haha.

As for where to buy it, it doesn't matter—Best Buy or Micro Center are both fine. He could even go to Micro Center (those guys built my rig and I was more than happy with the result). 🙂

Money isn't even the issue here—it’s just a matter of whether the motherboard can actually handle the GPU. I'm not asking for myself, I'm asking for my buddy Bratić. He wants to play GTA 5 on medium settings without the constant stuttering. With his current card, it's basically unplayable.

Here's a shot of the power supply http://prntscr.com/7u8o1g so you can tell me what we need to swap out from there. 😁

Hey everyone,

I could use some help picking out a new graphics card.

My motherboard is an ASUS P7P55D Le.

Running an Intel Core i5-750 on this setup.

Right now, I'm stuck with an Nvidia GeForce GTS 250, but I really need something more powerful, ideally up to $333
Budget PC build under $700? in Desktops ·
Patrick Diaz49 said:Unfortunately, ADM won't put the PC together unless you buy all the parts from them. So, here’s an alternative setup. It’s got a slightly slower processor, but you make up for it with a much better monitor and a beefier graphics card.

1 x Benq GW2255 Monitor, VA LED, Flicker-free, VGA/DVI
1 x AMD CPU X6 FX6100 (3.3/3.9GHz, 14MB, 95W, AM3+) box
1 x LC-CC-95 CPU Cooler, Intel/AMD, 90mm
1 x Asrock 980 de U3S3, ATA133 IDE, AM3+
1 x Crucial 8GB DDR3 1600 Mhz (PC3-12800) CL11
1 x XFX Radeon R9 270A 2GB 256Bit DDR5
1 x MS CARBON black case, no PSU included
1 x Forton Hexa+ 400W, 80+, active, 12 cm

$1500 / free assembly service

*If you swap in an FX6300, the price hits $1567
*Using a better Gigabyte 970 DS3P motherboard along with the FX6100 brings it to $1543

Will they still build it for free even if I don't buy the hard drive from them?
Budget PC build under $700? in Desktops ·
I need a PC setup for gaming and running stuff like Dreamweaver.
I've been browsing admin.com because their prices seem to be the lowest around.
The budget needs to cover everything, including a monitor that's at least 20 inches.

Can someone tell me if these parts are actually compatible?

AMD FX-Series X6 6300 3.5GHz,14MB,95W,AM3+ - $300
Sapphire R7 265 2GB GDDR5 Dual-X, 2GB GDDR5 - $433
Asrock 960GM-VGS3 FX - AM3+, AMD 760G, AMD SB710, mATX - $114
2 x DDR3 4GB (1x4GB) Corsair, 1600MHz, CL11,Value, CMV4GX3M1A160C11 - 2 x $85
SPIRE 420W Power Supply, ATX 2.13, 12cm quiet fan - $58
MS CASTOR Midi tower, ATX, mATX, external slots: 4x5,25 - $42
TOSHIBA 500GB, 7200rpm, SATA 6 Gb/s, 32MB, DT01ACA050 - $128
Zalman CNPS8000B CPU cooler. FAN: 92mm PWM, fan speed: 1,400 ~ 2 - $73

Monitor: AOC E2250SWDAK, 21.5", 16:9, 1920x1080, built-in speakers, 200 cd/m2 - $261

Total cost comes to: $1579

Regarding the hard drive, I already have one. Since I don't know how to build a PC myself, would they build the whole thing for me without including the drive?
