I’d say those cops need a bit of an internal review, but mostly because they were acting like pushovers, letting one hypocrite run circles around them. Look, if there's a report about someone being a danger to themselves or others, the rules are clear—officers don't just hang out in the yard. They go in, ID everyone, and check for weapons. These guys didn't follow protocol; they could've hauled both of them in without a second thought. Everyone wants to play peacekeeper until a robbery happens or some kid gets taken out by an air rifle—then suddenly everyone’s an expert. People love to trash the police, but from where I'm sitting, this whole thing looks staged because Krčmarek won't even step into a fight without a camera rolling. Honestly, the guy isn't worth the breath; he just lives for the media circus. He refuses to take off his hat and tries to spin every single protest to make himself look like the hero.

Like I said, PAINTBALL is a sport! AIRSOFT is simulating WAR! If you can't see how huge the TV coverage is here in the USA or notice the endless tournaments with massive cash prizes, then honestly, you’re just clueless. The point is, AIRSOFT and paintball are two completely different worlds. I play competitive paintball. I’d probably be the worst AIRSOFT player in this state, but if you step onto my paintball field, I'll have you sorted out in no time... Don't mix apples and oranges!
Check out what REAL PAINTBALL looks like. So stop mixing up paintball and airsoft!
You've got things a bit mixed up too. It's definitely true that AIRSOFT is closer to actual combat simulation. The replicas look more realistic and the playstyle reflects that. But look... What you showed in those videos isn't the only way to play paintball. That's speedball—played on small fields with specific obstacles. We mostly play woodsball. Depending on how big the forest area is, the scenarios can be anything, and in that sense, it's actually very similar to AIRSOFT. The only real difference is that engagements happen at shorter distances since paintball markers don't have the same range, but it's easier to tell when you've actually hit someone.
Bottom line, I dig both. Just one correction: paintball isn't officially recognized as a "sport" yet. It hasn't quite broken through to get the official status we want, so we're in the same boat as AIRSOFT players, basically playing under the radar.
