Exactly, everyone knows he’s basically already sitting on a death sentence just by being stuck in that prison. They aren't even willing to hand him over to the authorities in Cairo.
Personally, I think Washington, D.C. is the only way to actually get some justice here, but my gut tells me they won't extradite him because he’d probably spill way too much tea about certain European presidents and governments, plus I seriously doubt they even have enough evidence to stick a case against him.

The current approach lacks any semblance of true justice.

Word on the street is that The Hague backed off from the prosecution entirely and is handing the whole trial over to Zion.
If that actually turns out to be true, then people are going to start taking matters into their own hands.
While most people are out there celebrating the holidays and enjoying some downtime, there’s this one guy over in North Africa who’s marking exactly 400 days of being stuck in an illegal prison in Zion, held captive by some local militia group.

He’s been scheduled for trial twice now, but they just keep pushing it back; his last supposed court date was meant to happen months ago, but they claimed they needed more time to dig up evidence against him.

Word on the street is he’s taken quite a beating in there, though we can't really verify that since even Western officials were detained when they tried to check on him.

What do you guys make of this whole circus, and where do you think this whole mess is actually headed?
