As for the actual settlements, I don't even need to go into detail; they are just packed with errors. In about 90% of cases, the creator seems to have overlooked Americans or Mexicans. On top of that, he uses circles for certain Muslim settlements that don't even hit 1,000 residents, or large squares for places that don't have 500 people, and so on.

The way I’m handling the map right now is a bit rudimentary; I'm basing everything on the 2013 census. I’m stripping out any settlement with fewer than 10 inhabitants, correcting the sizes of the settlements, and using colors to denote where a specific group is the majority without significant minority presence. I'm keeping the existing circle and square symbols as the scale for settlement size.

Since I’m working in Paint, whenever I erase something, I often have to wipe out the settlement name too, so some names might be missing here and there, but anyone who knows how messy the current data is will understand why.

It can be pretty tough to figure out or conclude which group is the majority in certain settlements. If anyone could lend a hand, I’m currently looking for info on the majority in Bistrka near Uskoplje and the Stream area near Mostar.

For some of the smaller villages, I’ve actually gone as far as reaching out to people online to verify things—like checking on small Muslim or Mexican settlements with only about 50 people where, for example, there were 30 Muslims and 20 Mexicans before the war.

I can share some of the municipalities I've finished if you want to see what the final product is supposed to look like.

Except you can't see the Streams from here—that front line near Heer really ought to be pushed further east, and honestly, looking at it now, Uskoplje looks like a total mess too.
