Eric Adams - Mayor of New York City, Part 4 in Political Scene ·
The whole mess is happening because Chicago residents keep picking a lapdog instead of an actual mayor.

Does anyone have any intel on how things are actually moving along with the work on the underpass at Škorpikov?

Men's makes you wonder if sponsors are just looking for a kickback.😵

Look, I get it, you have to give him some breathing room, right? But we're talking about a full year now. At this point, even the small stuff should be getting done properly, and honestly, the vast majority of what’s been handled needs to actually be correct.

Finally, something actually worth mentioning from this era—bravo.

For about ten years, TT did nothing but point fingers at Ed Koch and highlight everything that was broken, all while completely ignoring the fact that he needed to actually build a team capable of running the place. He figured the opposition would just stay disorganized and irrelevant forever. Well, life threw him a curveball. The citizens actually gave him the keys to the city, and suddenly TT is standing there, totally unprepared, staring down a mountain of the exact same problems he’s been complaining about for a decade. Now that he actually has to fix them? He's clueless.

Because he wasn't ready for the win and didn't see the mandate coming, he’s already pivoting to conspiracy theories. It isn't some grand plot against him. The truth is much simpler: TT and the Možemovci just dropped the ball.

Justin, look, elections aren't happening right this second, but we sure as hell aren't going to sit around twiddling our thumbs for another three years. Those Superman types? They’ll just collapse under their own weight eventually.
Eric Adams - Mayor of New York City, Part 4 in Political Scene ·
I don't know. If elections were happening right now, maybe the Democratic Party wouldn't be sweeping the board quite so easily, but they'd definitely clear a majority. There’d probably be a massive chance to put together a State Government without needing a single Bernie Sanders in the mix.

Sam Wright21,

Man, wouldn't it be just wonderful if you finally took a few days off? You know, just a little vacation so the rest of us could actually catch our breath for once.
Eric Adams - Mayor of New York City, Part 4 in Political Scene ·
Sam Wright21,

So, when are you actually going on vacation?
Eric Adams - Mayor of New York City, Part 4 in Political Scene ·
Man, I was actually feeling pretty good about things finally moving forward in New York City without all the family drama getting in the way, but then I find out the relatives have some kind of special VIP status. 🤔

Look, I can take certain things TT at face value, but honestly? It feels like the campaign donors are the ones pulling the strings now. It’s like he’s becoming paralyzed, just slowly drifting away from the very people who put him there. If he actually gives a damn about New York City, then what? Does he have to step down against his own will and call for early mayoral elections in NYC just to save himself? Or is he just going to let those sponsors chew him up and spit him out? Because that’s the trajectory here—they’re coming to collect on everything they were promised, and they won't care who gets crushed in the process.
Eric Adams - Mayor of New York City, Part 4 in Political Scene ·
When you’ve run out of actual things to say—and let's be honest, most of you here are just mindless TT fans anyway—you all just start parroting the same old line like a bunch of broken records: 'Republican thieves.'
Eric Adams - Mayor of New York City, Part 4 in Political Scene ·
You can tell just how much weight Zoki's advice actually carried by looking back at his time as Prime Minister. It left such a massive dent in the Democratic Party that they still haven't quite found their footing since then.

Sam Wright21 said:I haven't forgotten. Given the CO2 emission targets set by the European Union, these incinerators aren't exactly getting a warm welcome in Europe. However, I'm starting to realize the whole thing is a farce; since most plastic is practically impossible to recycle, we're essentially witnessing a massive greenwashing operation where waste is smuggled off to developing nations to be burned in cement kilns. This cycle isn't going anywhere because plastic manufacturers are hell-bent on ramping up production regardless. The "circular economy" is little more than a clever marketing gimmick. So, I suppose I've learned everything there is to know from that documentary Peppa Pig recommended.

As for Eric Adams, he just parrots a few rehearsed talking points like some mindless bird; I’ve lost all faith in his supposed expertise, as he understands this crisis about as much as a Bandit does. Yet, he carries himself with all the misplaced confidence of a common thief. One can only hope his capacity for making mistakes isn't quite as vast as his ego.

Maybe it isn't just him, but his whole circle comes from the same pool as Bandit and those other parties. Everyone has their issues, some more than others, I guess. Now we just wait and see if TT and his crew finally show us who they really are.
Eric Adams - Mayor of New York City, Part 4 in Political Scene ·
I’m expecting TT to actually make New York City a clean place to live, rather than just some giant, overflowing landfill. This incinerator thing? It definitely isn't the only way out of this mess, so I’ll leave the final call up to TT and the Mickey Mouses of the world. Besides, nature handles CO2 just fine if we let it—it’s all about balance, right? Just plant some more trees. The carbon goes into the trunks, the oxygen heads back into the atmosphere, and both stay behind for the next generation to actually enjoy.
Eric Adams - Mayor of New York City, Part 4 in Political Scene ·
If you look at an incinerator versus a single flight, the math just doesn't hold up. An airplane pumps way more CO2 into the atmosphere in one go, and that's for just a few hundred passengers. Meanwhile, we’re sitting here obsessing over waste management for 600,000 people in New York City. Honestly? People in New York City probably ingest more CO2 through all those fizzy drinks than this plant will ever release into the air. Makes you wonder where we're actually focusing our energy, right?

If they actually had half a billion euros on the table, you just know a massive chunk of that would somehow vanish straight into the pockets of the European Union bureaucrats. Who really gets to see that money? Not us.
Eric Adams - Mayor of New York City, Part 4 in Political Scene ·
Sam Wright21,
You’re practically glowing with dissatisfaction here. Look, once you filter everything out, there isn't smoke left—just CO2 and water vapor. Has anyone ever heard of someone separating O2 just to dump it back into the atmosphere? And what are you supposed to do with the carbon? Turn it into graphite or diamonds? I haven't heard of anyone doing that either. And please, don't give me that "electricity is clean" line without explaining where the power actually comes from. At the end of the day, the results of any combustion process are pretty much identical to what happens at this incinerator.

Sure, let’s just plant enough forests to absorb all that CO2, shall we? Just turn every abandoned lot into a lush green space.
So, if we want that pristine environmental utopia the greens dream about, we’re stuck with rivers and wind, powered by the sun, until eventually, we're just left with nothing but the sun itself.

We might just have to accept these types of plants because, honestly, besides nuclear, I don't see any other viable sources for clean energy right now.

If we fight against every single solution being offered, we’ll just end up with a Green Left coalition teaming up with TT's Možemovac crowd to make New York City incredibly filthy.
Eric Adams - Mayor of New York City, Part 4 in Political Scene ·
This one’s pretty interesting. Though, honestly? I'm not sure if New York City actually needs a better one.

CopenHill is basically the cleanest waste-to-energy plant on the planet.
Eric Adams - Mayor of New York City, Part 4 in Political Scene ·
It’s wild how much sabotage is actually tolerated in politics, isn't it? People just shrug their shoulders and call it part of the game, when really, it’s just straight-up undermining everything that affects us regular folks.

Think about a 100-meter sprinter for a second. Imagine one runner comes out of nowhere and trips their opponent mid-race—is that "legal" too? What’s the actual difference between political maneuvering that dictates our entire lives and some athlete tripping someone on a track where maybe ten people are watching? In any other context, we’d call this blatant banditry, but in the political arena, they just label it "unsportsmanlike conduct."
