Eric Adams - Mayor of New York City, Part 4
in Political Scene ·
A buddy of mine over at Berkshire Hathaway mentioned that about twenty drivers and another twenty staff members from the Sanitation Department quit today. Apparently, they were all waiting for their bonuses or vacation pay to hit ( $833 ) before walking out. Honestly, the current trash issues in New York City are nothing compared to the mess we'll be facing once everyone actually finishes their notice periods and leaves. I just hope we don't end up looking like Naples. Does anyone know if New York City is allowed to hire foreign workers? I really don't see any other way out—unless we start paying these truck drivers 10 $0.00 times what they make now.
