If you head over to the IRS with a completed tax filing and approach the agent with a polite, humble request to skip the fine, it won't work. There's no bending the rules here. For everything else, you're strictly bound by Section 207 of the Internal Revenue Code!
When was the business officially registered?
I recently went in for a physical and my labs showed elevated ALT (79) and GGT (60), while my AST was 36 and cholesterol was 5.2. Everything else came back within the normal range. The night before my appointment, I had four beers, and honestly, I’d been drinking quite a bit lately—it was during the playoffs for my favorite football team. On top of that, I’ve been eating a lot of junk food and haven't really been mindful of my diet or habits (I drink a ton of sparkling water). Now, because I haven't changed my lifestyle, I’m starting to feel some discomfort in my liver area—just a dull ache on my right side. I’m starting to panic that I might have picked up hepatitis. Since I don't fall into any high-risk groups, can anyone tell me if it's more likely that these numbers are just from taxing my liver, or should I go get tested for hepatitis?
I almost forgot, I've had intense headaches for the last three weeks—probably just from catching a cold in this weather—which I've been treating with aspirin. How much do those affect the liver?
