so I was wondering about setting up a seasonal business... thinking about starting my own drywall contracting gig and just registering for part-time hours... does anyone know how much I'd be paying the IRS every month? like, would the tax hit be any lighter if I go part-time instead of full-time

So I was wondering about one way to set up a small business... can a woman who's currently out on maternity leave and getting those state benefits still start her own LLC without losing her check? And would she also have to start paying into Social Security during that time while she's still technically employed elsewhere... thanks for any help
