Hey. Quick question. I run a small business and I'm thinking about setting up shop this summer at a private house on the coast to sell some art pieces. It's just small stuff. I'll have a physical location, but I'm not sure who I actually need to talk to—like, which local government office or department should I hit up for permits? Or am I just looking at checking in with the local tourism board? Also, do I need to register a branch location or something similar under the Small Business Act?
I'm pretty new to all this and honestly, most of it is a blur. Thanks for any help.

Hey. Got a few questions and would appreciate any help I can get.
I’m thinking about heading to the coast this summer to do temporary tattoos—you know, the kind that last about ten days. I already have a spot (a private house in a prime location), so I don't need to rent space from the city. Here’s what I’m wondering:
1. Do I actually need to be a registered small business owner to do this by the beach over the summer? Or is everyone working those boardwalk stands just an employee for someone else?
2. What kind of local taxes or fees do I owe the town to operate there, and who exactly am I cutting checks to?
3. Which office should I hit up to get a permit or whatever you call the permission to set up shop?
4. Is there a deadline for getting all that paperwork sorted with the department mentioned in question 3?
