Starting a small business

Hey there, hi!
I'm starting up my own small business as a sole proprietor, and I was wondering if anyone has recommendations for banks. Since I'll be working with international clients, I'm going to need a foreign currency account... but from what I hear, banks really "rip you off" on the conversion rates 😁 I assume they're all pretty bad, but I'm curious which one is the lesser of two evils?
I also see that some people have everything set up through PayPal, so how does that actually work?
Anyway, any advice on receiving payments would be much appreciated 🙂
