Starting a small business in Business, Accounting & Taxes ·
I’m running a small business under the simplified tax system—basically just an LLC owner working about 40 hours a week.

Do I still have to cough up all those same payroll taxes and social security contributions?

Tried everything and my computer still isn't showing up. I'm following all the steps... but man, this thing used to work just fine before.

When you check the system properties, is the workgroup name identical across the board?
And when looking at shared folders—what does the permissions setup look like in Finder?

Everyone's on macOS 10.

The workgroup is set to WORKGROUP on all of them.

And when looking at shared folders, what's listed under permissions (via Finder)

That Workgroup stuff is driving me nuts—I can't even figure out where to look.

I set the permissions to EVERYONE and checked all the boxes (read/write)

I'll drop some screenshots of everything now.

Hey everyone,
Got four machines running in my office and my scanner decided to go haywire on me. I couldn't fix it for the life of me, so I tried a workaround:

The old setup was simple—everything we scanned went straight to a shared folder on one specific PC, and everyone could grab it without a hitch.
Now, I’ve moved the scanner over to a different machine. Scanning works fine, but once I set up the shared folder, it’s like it doesn't even exist to anyone else.
I've double-checked all the settings a dozen times, but I'm totally stumped.
I can see the other workstations on the network, but nobody can see mine.
To make matters worse, when I try to access their folders, it keeps nagging me for a username and password, even though they can get into mine just fine.

Honestly, everything feels like a total mess right now and I'm out of ideas. Any help would be appreciated... thanks in advance. 🙂
