After endless rounds of testing at the hospital, my dad was just diagnosed with NHL—specifically a T-cell lymphoma. His doctor mentioned it’s incredibly rare, maybe three cases a year compared to the much more common B-cell type. She wants him to start chemo this week, but he's honestly terrified; she warned him that this particular regimen is pretty aggressive and toxic, then basically left the ball in his court to decide how to proceed. Has anyone here dealt with this specific type of lymphoma? I'd love to hear if anyone knows anything about what the actual recovery outlook looks like. 🤷

Hey everyone,
I have a question, and honestly, I’m at my wit's end with who to ask. About 3 or 4 weeks ago, my dad’s lymph nodes in his neck suddenly started swelling up. He had a full blood panel done and everything came back normal, but then his doctor sent him for a neck ultrasound. They found several enlarged nodes—about 2 cm each—on both sides of his neck and in his armpit. His doctor immediately referred him for a biopsy at a specialized oncology clinic, and now we're stuck waiting ten long days for the results. To make matters worse, two more nodes just popped up on the back of his neck, feeling like huge lumps. I'm terrified of the worst-case scenario. My dad has never been sick and he's never even touched a cigarette, but reading all these horror stories online is keeping me wide awake at night. Does anyone know what could cause lymph nodes in the neck and armpit to swell up like this?

Fiberoptic endoscopy: What to expect?

Does anyone here know what a fiberoptic scope exam actually feels like? Is it going to be painful?! 🤷
Starting an LLC: Where to begin?
in Business, Accounting & Taxes ·
Hey everyone,
Since I’ve decided to launch my own freelance business focusing on IT consulting, I was wondering if I can register additional activities under the same umbrella—things like import/export or other service-based work? Or does that fall into those strictly regulated categories? I know when you set up an LLC you can basically add an unlimited number of business lines, so I'm curious how it works for a sole proprietorship and which route actually makes more sense financially. 😕
Thanks in advance!

The weight is coming back...
in Health ·
That’s way too much weight to pack on in just two months, which explains why it keeps coming right back—your body just isn't used to the shock. Honestly, you've got to cut out the white bread, pasta, sugar, salty snacks, potatoes, and soda. Stop eating after 7 PM and make sure you're actually working out; if you aren't hitting the gym, nothing else is going to work.👍
