Starting an LLC: Where to begin?

But what if I don't have any significant assets? Right now, everything I inherit gets split down the middle with my mom. Since she owned half the apartment while my dad was alive—they were paying off the mortgage together, which is finally cleared now—she owns her half. Mathematically speaking, that leaves me with a quarter of the place. I can't exactly invest my burial plot at Arlington National Cemetery, can I? My parents bought that plot years ago as a joint purchase with my aunt's family and my paternal grandparents. Based on how this works, the only thing I could really contribute is my own tomb. Does that even count for anything? To be honest, I'm not sure how I'll manage to scrape the cash together since I'm still looking for a job, let alone building up a nest egg. I might be able to pull together $7,000, but that $20,000 gap is a real hurdle.
