Starting an LLC: Where to begin?

Hey everyone!
Does anyone happen to have any intel on starting a business while still in college? Is that even a thing you can do? 😕
My vision is to organize student travel packages at prices that actually make sense—you know, way more affordable than those massive corporate travel agencies. I've toyed with the idea of setting up a non-profit association, but from what I understand, those organizations aren't allowed to turn a profit in the traditional sense... any extra cash has to go right back into the association itself. So, I'm really looking into whether forming an LLC or some other type of company might be the better move here (?). Thanks so much in advance!
