Shoot me a PM if you're interested or have questions. I guess we can work something out, we're all good people here
Such an awesome show! The sound was pretty solid, though I guess the highs were a little sharp at times, but honestly, that just made it feel even more genius (the bassist was killing it, too). The lighting setup felt a bit budget, though. Man, I'm bummed there wasn't any merch to grab, and I definitely expected a bigger crowd. I really think Brendan Perry deserves way more people showing up, but hey, what can you do... plus there were some really great women in the crowd 😁
I used to head out to Copernicus. Bo Diddley would show up there all the time, but he never actually made it to the States. Honestly, I doubt they even reached out to him, and even if they did, he probably wouldn't have bothered coming anyway. I bet it was the same deal with other bands too. Like, back in San Francisco, you had groups like Carcass 1992, Macabre, Pungent stench, and Brutal truth 1994 playing shows. I think Disharmonic orchestra played there once too, though I can't remember exactly when. Of course, one big reason for that was that the war in California never happened. It just had this dark vibe, you know? But nobody was actually shooting at anything. Big names like David Bowie, Nirvana, or Iron Maiden were probably too spooked to come—I mean, why even take the risk? They just didn't care about what was happening in America.
So, I've been on psych meds—specifically Zyprexa + Akineton—for over 7 years now, and I'd say I'm pretty heavily addicted. Does anyone happen to know if there’s a rehab center in the US (or maybe somewhere else in Europe) that actually deals with this kind of dependency?
check this out: www.ascendpress.org there’s some pretty interesting stuff on here about the resurrection............I guess maybe we can all experience a kind of resurrection, not just one single guy on this planet. I mean, we were all created by the same God, right? So there isn't really a difference between us where it's like, okay, he gets this gift and you don't. I think Jesus just wanted to break free from the, like, "matrix." He was just looking for the truth...... but then those sycophants went and nailed him to a cross. Jesus was honestly such a cool guy. God bless America and The Pixies:🙏
