Thanks a lot, I finally get what needs to be done. I’m planning on getting a motorcycle instead of a car, but I assume the logic remains exactly the same.

So, if I’m following this correctly, I have to cough up a 30% down payment right out of the gate. But then, once I’ve finished paying off the lease, they give me an option to buy the car—except I haven't actually owned it for those 3, 5, or 7 years. After all that, I finally pay it off, and it turns out the vehicle isn't even mine. It seems pretty logical to me.

There's some truth to that. Sorry if I came off a bit rude earlier, everyone, but honestly, I just really want to know how this works—or at least find out where I can get the facts.

I find it hard to believe that everyone here thinks paying cash for a vehicle is the only way to go, while completely ignoring how much easier it is through a lease agreement.
