What kind of illness is this? You can't even see it, but if you don't take your meds, you end up locked away—yet when you do take them, you feel absolutely terrible. Would you kill an elephant just to get rid of a problem? In the end, you're forced to live like everyone else because there’s no other way, but people always know you're "unstable," so things never truly feel the same. Still... oh well.

It won't be lasers, tree bark, or pills; instead, they'll just reprogram the brain or edit out the specific gene causing the illness entirely.
Yeah, it's true—I heard it straight from Dr. Restek over at the neurology department at St. John's Parish.
But you can go screw yourself until then; by the time it happens, you'll be seventy and finally "cured," only to end up in a cemetery where Life SUCKS.
I'm calling my doctor in Los Angeles right now. Oh, she's on vacation. Guess everything will be fixed in 70 years! 😉

Should there be that much of it?

Theoretically, it is possible.
