Best online payment cards?

It looks like I’m staring at a million different opinions here on which specific cards actually play nice with PayPal and which ones just fail. One thing I’ve noticed, though, is that everyone keeps bringing up JP Morgan Chase and Wells Fargo cards. It makes me wonder—is it just their foreign currency accounts that work, or can you use the standard domestic ones too?
