So, I suppose I’m finally heading in for surgery sometime soon—fingers crossed, I guess. Does anyone here happen to have any insight into how Dr. Lightman over at Mayo Clinic operates?

Grace Cruz87 said:At first, I was actually considering reaching out to Glumičić—though, honestly, I ended up talking myself out of it—but then, almost by pure accident, a friend pointed me toward Dr. Ivkica over at the clinic near Beverly Hills. And I have to say, I am genuinely impressed with him. It certainly didn't hurt that the nose job he did for her turned out absolutely perfect, either. 😁 ...so, after two separate consultation sessions, I finally have an actual date for the surgery on the calendar. 👋 Well... I’ve gone through everything—read every single word—and I suppose you're right to step in and save me here. It turns out that (in most instances, at least) things aren't quite as catastrophic as they seem. You might have to endure a little bit of discomfort now—it's probably unavoidable—but I guess it ends up being worth it in the long run. Maybe.

Is that just about functionality, or does it actually look good too?

So, how long is the typical wait time for the surgery itself? And what’s the deal with the anesthesia—is it pretty intense? I suppose my main concern is just ensuring the surgeon is actually competent... you know, someone who truly knows their stuff and won't drop the ball. Even if it isn't some massive, life-altering procedure, I still feel like... well, precision matters, right?

So, what’s the verdict on Dr. Kincl?

Could someone please recommend a decent surgeon? I’m just looking to get some work done on the tip of my nose—specifically, to have them trim away some excess cartilage, I suppose.

I have a quick question regarding hospitals—is admission strictly limited to actual respiratory issues or other medical emergencies, or can one be admitted for purely aesthetic reasons as well?

So, I was wondering—has anyone actually been to the Bagatin clinic lately? Does anyone have the scoop on how they're doing?

Does anyone happen to have any firsthand experience with Dr. Toncic?

I suppose it shouldn't really be an issue for you—at least, based on what I've gathered from my reading—but apparently, you should probably avoid blowing your nose for about a week after the surgery

rustyheron22, who did you end up seeing? I actually went ahead and booked a consultation for tomorrow with Toncic—I guess. Does anyone here happen to know if he’s any good? I'm really just looking to tweak the tip of my nose, nothing too crazy

Does anyone happen to have a recommendation for a surgeon who actually knows what they're doing? I don't really have any breathing issues or anything with my septum—that's fine—but I’d really like to get that little "bump" on the tip of my nose reduced. It just bothers me, and honestly, I think it looks a bit off.

How does the whole hospital situation work over here? And, I guess... what are we looking at in terms of costs?

I mean, I’d love to—but after doing a bit of digging, it looks like I actually need a rhinoplasty. Now, does anyone have any idea what the damage is going to be financially, or better yet, who I should actually see?

I have a question. So, I’ve been sitting here thinking about surgery for quite some time now—mostly because I absolutely loathe taking photos due to my nose. It’s always the first thing people notice, and honestly, it looks like I'm walking around with a literal ball on my face. It’s just genetics, I suppose, but it really bothers me. I was wondering if anyone knows roughly how much a rhinoplasty costs, if there are any specific doctors you’d recommend, and how long the recovery process actually takes?
