Personal loan ads: Legit or scam? in Banking, Insurance & Loans ·
Jesse Lewis4 said:Are you talking about running credit through cards—like Master, American Express, Discover, or whatever else?
I’m no expert on whether that’s actually a smart move, and I don't know anyone who does it, so I haven't got much useful info for you.

Yeah, that's exactly what I mean. Apparently, using a Master card is the cheapest option. At least, that's what one ad claimed. $1667 - $73/month, $3333 - $147/month, $5000 - $220/month... all supposedly over a 3-year term. A 2% processing fee, instant approval in 5 minutes... blah blah blah.
Does anyone actually have info on this? I need a loan, and this looks decent. If it were a scam, people would be talking about it by now...

Lately, every single subway station is plastered with ads for loans—"instant approval, lowest rates..." It’s everywhere. What have your experiences been with these kinds of loans? Are they actually affordable? Is there anything even legitimate about them? How safe are we talking here?
Thanks
