So, I was looking through their brochure here:

and honestly, the info on page five left me a bit scratching my head.

Does anyone have a clue what time the Visa Mastercard transactions usually hit for settlement? I get the feeling it always happens in the afternoon—or is it more of a "whenever it feels like it" kind of situation?

My Visa Mastercard from JPMorgan Chase hits my account on the 15th of every month. I usually make sure there's enough cash sitting in there—or at least enough cushion in my overdraft—to cover the full amount.

I was planning on squaring things up tomorrow, but then it hit me—tomorrow is a holiday, so the banks will be closed. Those ATMs that take deposits won't even process anything until Tuesday. To make matters worse, I don't know anyone with access to Chase Online who could just transfer me that $300-$133.

So, how should I handle this?

Am I going to end up hitting an unauthorized overdraft? Or does the bank have some other way of handling these little timing hiccups?

My plan is to head straight to the branch first thing Tuesday morning to deposit the funds...

Any potential headaches I should be looking out for?
