All or nothing? in Economy ·

Reading through this actually takes me back about seven or eight years to when I first started dipping my toes into the stock market, feeling all that typical hesitation.
I remember putting a measly 3 $0.00 into some Sun Life Financial fund that was trading at about $1.75 per share, and if I’m being totally honest, I didn't have the slightest clue what I was doing at the time.

But honestly, that initial leap is everything; it's like they say, fortune favors the bold, right?

Fast forward to today, and my portfolio has grown to the point where I can look at retirement with total peace of mind, knowing I'll be living a much more comfortable lifestyle than most folks out there on a standard social security check.

Looking at your situation, I see a lot of my younger self—maybe just a year or so into the journey—where your earnings start to climb alongside your confidence, and eventually, you just pick up the nuances along the way. There's definitely truth to that old adage: "Nothing ventured, nothing gained." 👍
