Total loser
The guy just keeps making way too many mistakes.

I missed the Third Qualifying Session, so I'll have to catch the replay once I get home.
What on earth is going on with Mercedes-Benz? They actually looked pretty solid during the First Qualifying Session and the Second Qualifying Session.

Mercedes-Benz looks solid for the second weekend in a row. They’re making serious progress.
Fernando Alonso is absolutely flying! It looks like that car upgrade finally clicked into place perfectly.
We're talking millimeters here, expect some serious time corrections later.
Aston Martin is a total disaster. They've somehow managed to sink even lower than Haas.

They would’ve had twelve of them if Norris hadn't been so cocky.

I bet about 90% of you would call for a penalty on almost any duel we see out there

It’s such a shame Alonso couldn't get more involved out there. He just lacked the raw pace. It honestly looked like his tires were shot; he was inexplicably dropping speed through those high-speed corners, which made it impossible for him to stay in the hunt.

Richard Ross11 said:Apparently, they had a solid 6-second window to decide whether to call Charles Leclerc into the pits, and just like we saw on screen, they didn't... even though there was plenty of time to make the call...

Look, there is a massive difference between getting stuck behind someone and actively blocking them from having any chance to pass.
If we follow your logic, we might as well just cancel the whole race right now. We should probably just install a "safe space" zone where every car has to stay two meters apart at all times. During a duel, everyone should maintain a huge gap, maybe add an extra lane to the track, and only allow overtaking on the straightaways. That would solve everything, right?
The reality is simple: Leclerc slammed into Sergio Perez—twice during the restart—and wrecked his car because he was driving like a bull, trying to force a gap where absolutely none existed.

Are you seriously forgetting Imola? He had those fresh tires and was eating up the gap to Sergio Perez and Max Verstappen, then he completely botched the entry into Turn 1 like a total amateur. He definitely would've passed Sergio because his pace was superior, and honestly, he probably would've caught Max by the end since he was on much better rubber.
By the way, seeing what the internet has turned into—and how sensitive everyone has become—is honestly pathetic. You can't offer even a shred of legitimate criticism anymore without being labeled a "hater" or whatever. It’s exhausting.
Man, if I don't pull the plug on my router and kill my internet connection forever, I might lose it. We are living in the era of snowflakes.
Just watch the race replay because it's obvious you didn't. Check Lap 46 and Lap 3 if you want me to save you the trouble.

Lewis Hamilton?
Max Verstappen?
Can you actually tell me when that happened?

Charles Leclerc just completely loses his mind during a race. He goes full throttle against everyone—his own teammate, his rivals, nobody's safe. It was way too easy for him to spin out today, and honestly, he probably almost took himself out too. We're talking millimeters here. He clipped Sergio Perez twice and wrecked his front wing, then shoved Carlos Sainz off the track, and did the same thing to Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton..
His focus just evaporates. Look, the guy has insane talent and raw speed, but he lacks composure. Max Verstappen might be hot-headed, but he can snap back and find his rhythm. With Leclerc, once he starts sliding, it’s game over. If he loses momentum and makes one mistake, his brain just shuts off. Then he just goes into this desperate "all or nothing" mode, driving like a maniac trying to claw back what he lost.
In this current season, all that reckless charging has cost him at least one win.

Someone needs to fire him immediately; his time is clearly up. He’s dragging McLaren down. Lando is consistently fighting for a top 5 spot and honestly looks like he could grab a podium if given the chance, whereas this guy is just lucky if he even scrapes some points. Get Nanda back in the seat. ☕

Mad respect to Carlos Sainz for not playing those petty games with the team. If he had just played nice and stayed out of Charles Leclerc's way, they both would've ended up completely screwed underneath the car.

A blown tire? Didn't Carlos Sainz report some debris on track just a few laps ago?

He hit some debris on the track. He drifted off the racing line and picked up those bits of carbon fiber that flew off someone else during a collision earlier. It looks like the marshals didn't clear the track well enough, so he caught them wide and went right over the mess.
