Thanks, steelmaker. Does that mean a licensed individual or a firm can only partner with one insurance carrier? What about those independent advisors who work with multiple different companies at once?

I’ve been wondering about how much the recent changes to insurance laws are actually going to shake things up for financial advisors. Most of them are tied to big banks, insurance companies, pension fund managers, investment firms, or even those local savings and loan associations...
Does anyone here have any insight on this?
