I placed a tiny test bet yesterday just to see how things work—it won, obviously! But then I requested my payout via Neteller... and it’s been over 24 hours and still absolutely nothing.

You aren't going to have any real issues with them—payouts can take a little longer than expected sometimes, but everything is fine! It’s just such a shame they adopted that system from Unibet; because of that, American players end up getting hit with limits that are basically only a quarter of what a standard bet should be.

It usually takes about 2-3 days at most—but keep in mind, when you withdraw to Venmo or Neteller, they'll hit you with a 3% fee on whatever amount you're pulling out! Only PayPal is free. What’s your max bet on a single live game? And do you have one of those accounts capped at a $50 max win, or do you have higher limits?

Is there anything more delightful than a fresh start? Truly—I simply can't get enough! kaže:
Is DraftKings facing some turbulence? — It certainly seems that way! http://www.top100bookmakers.com/comm...portingbet.php

I’ve never had a single issue with them—honestly! I’ve managed over ten different accounts through their platform, and withdrawals have always been smooth, even when I'm pulling $5,000 or $6,000 at a time. You can actually withdraw up to $2,000 once a month without them breathing down your neck for paperwork—isn't that convenient? Of course, when the payouts get a bit larger, they tend to stall slightly—acting like they haven't even glanced at my ID yet—but in about 90% of cases, the funds are in my account within 48 hours. Plus, since I never touch their bonuses, they have absolutely no leverage to push anything on me!

Why not give Sportingbet a shot? Their odds and payouts are actually quite decent—plus, they have a dedicated US site where getting your account verified is much smoother than using the international version!

Does anyone happen to know their support email? I spent an entire hour scouring the web and found absolutely nothing... what a total disaster.

You really don't want to cross paths with them—their response times are incredibly sluggish unless you're some high-roller VIP.
Just head over to their site under "Contact" or "Help" to reach out; they'll get back to you via email, and then you can pick things back up from there.

DraftKings

How on earth do you even have a DraftKings account open??
Do you have a United Kingdom ID or something—because from what I know, they only let people from the United Kingdom and a few other places open accounts there, right?

hollowscout1 said:Is there an actual limit? I wasn't planning on betting much—maybe around $20. I'm curious if they have any withdrawal limits. Also, do you know of any other good sportsbooks?
Do you have any other sportsbook recommendations?

For casual players, the best options are definitely the major US-based sites like Bet365 or William Hill—you don't have to worry about your money being safe, verification is lightning fast, and the limits are massive! Coral, Betfred, and Paddy Power are decent too, though their limits tend to be a bit tighter. I’d also suggest Marathonbet for those top-tier odds, even if they do start limiting accounts pretty quickly.
If you're playing with more serious cash and sticking to the big sports and standard markets—like moneyline, over/under, or spreads—then the Asian books are king: SBO, 12bet, and of course Pinnacle, which is absolutely stellar if you're just hitting one parlay at a time.
Every single one of these books has its own set of pros and cons that you'll just have to discover yourself—after all, every betting style requires a different approach to a specific bookie, right?

If you opened an account within the last month, they'll likely demand it during withdrawal—at least, that’s been my experience with my last four accounts, and I know a few buddies who ran into the exact same thing!

I've been doing a bit of digging online and, based on what I've read, it seems like a pretty solid starting point for someone just getting into online betting..

If you're planning to stick to small stakes—say, $5 to $10 per bet—then they're fantastic!🙂But honestly, they haven't really been letting Americans play much for almost a year and a half now—it's such a shame because they used to be one of the top-tier sites—but apparently, since American players hit them for a massive amount of money, they decided to just limit us all...🙂

I got a letter about three or four years ago—nothing since then!

That’s exactly the letter you mean—but I’m talking about all the brand-new accounts! For my last four accounts over the past few months, I've had to verify everything with an ID... though they never actually send the letter on their own! I have to ask them to resend it after seven days, and then it finally shows up about a week later.

Skrill just isn't as tempting as it used to be—honestly, PayPal is much better when it comes to reward points. Skrill doesn't offer those 2x, 3x, or 5x point multipliers anymore, and they likely won't anytime soon since they haven't run any promotions in the 7 or 8 months since being acquired. Meanwhile, PayPal gives you points for every single deposit and withdrawal you make from a sportsbook.
Regarding daily deposits and withdrawals for point farming, I don't think that strategy works much anymore—why would it? Sportsbooks only make about 2-3% on incoming funds and lose another 1% when paying out via PayPal, so they're bleeding money! Almost every book has tightened the screws on frequent transactions; even Pinnacle has implemented a 5x minimum turnover requirement. You might manage to proc it once or twice in a short window, but after that, most books will probably send you a notice saying they'll charge you for it in the future—especially since nearly everyone requires at least a 1x turnover on deposited funds now.
Bet365 has a $10,000 maximum withdrawal limit, but you can easily process a few large payouts at once and they'll clear them within 24 hours. Also, they haven't offered a first deposit bonus for Americans for quite some time—and as of a month ago, they’ve added a second layer to account verification. It’s not just an ID anymore; now you have to enter a code from a physical letter or complete a phone call.

Arthur Howard said:When you set up an account with Skrill, there's really just one big decision—do you want it for "personal" use or "business" use?

It used to be handled differently! They used to ask if you were opening it specifically for gambling or not—but now, as you mentioned, it’s all about whether it's for personal or business purposes.
The other guy probably opened his account a year or two ago when they still asked about the gambling aspect—which is likely why he's running into this headache now—but currently, there aren't those kinds of restrictions, so you can use it for pretty much anything!

Chris Nguyen31 said:I honestly don't follow your math logic here.

PayPal:
I withdraw 7x750 = 5,250 USD in Canada
The fee is 7x4 = 28 USD
I head back home to the US with 5,222 USD.

PayPal:
I withdraw 21x250 = 5,250 USD
The fee is 21x1.8 = 37.8 USD
I head back to the US with 5,212.2 USD.

So, which is better—5,222 or 5,212?

What's even worse is that with PayPal I have to make 21 trips just to get my money, whereas with Neteller it's only 7!
And why on earth would I exchange USD for anything else at a rate of 7.4?

Do you actually shop in USD when you're in the States?
Come on, don't be ridiculous! First off, maybe 0.01% of people using PayPal or Neteller live close enough to Canada to drive over there just to grab cash. Secondly—for a measly $10 difference—tell me how much gas you'd burn driving to Canada? Plus, you'd have to go for 7 days straight since you're capped at $750 per day... so tell me, what's actually more profitable now?
I'm talking about the other 99.99% of people here. Seriously, tell me: if I'm withdrawing cash daily with a PayPal card, what makes more sense—driving to Canada for 7 days or just hitting any local ATM in the US for 20 days?
I withdraw in USD using my PayPal card and I'm a VIP; when I need to swap currency, I only lose 0.07% because I get $1 for $1$2.50 and buy it at $1$2.50—no extra fees whatsoever.
Believe me, no serious player in the US uses Neteller just to withdraw funds—it's simply not worth it, no matter how you try to spin it!

Chris Nguyen31 said:PayPal has lower margins for ATM cash withdrawals.
For $750, they take $4, whereas PayPal takes $1.80 for $250 (which is $5.40 if you do it three times).
So, it’s actually more affordable if you're withdrawing USD—say, while visiting Canada.

It really depends—are you an amateur or a pro?
If you're just an amateur pulling money once or twice a month, then maybe PayPal is fine—provided you can withdraw USD—but if you're playing at a more serious level, PayPal is five times better!
I’ve used both, and I'll tell you this: when I switched from PayPal to Neteller thinking it would be better, I ended up switching back after just two months because daily withdrawals via Neteller were eating my lunch!
Just look at a $5,000 figure—if you withdraw in Canada using USD, you’d do seven transactions of roughly $700 each, costing you $28 in fees with Neteller. But if you were withdrawing in local currency—let's say, through some other method—you'd be doing 7 or 8 transactions of similar value.
Instead of getting your full amount, you'd end up with less due to the exchange rate—plus that extra $28 fee!
With PayPal, if you aren't a VIP, you'd do 20 transactions of $250 in Canada, which costs you $36—unless, of course, you're a VIP, in which case it costs you nothing!
The difference is even wider elsewhere—where you might expect a certain amount but lose another $36 in fees unless you have that VIP status.
So, now you tell me—how is Neteller any better?

Jerry Taylor said:What’s the best way to withdraw or spend winnings from offshore sportsbooks—and do I even need to worry about taxes?!

Honestly? You can't even report those taxes if you wanted to—the money isn't exactly "legal" income!
The best move is using a PayPal card because PayPal offers terrible exchange rates—they'll charge you $2.50 per USD while PayPal gives you closer to 7.6 or more—plus, PayPal hits you with a $4 fee on every single transaction, whereas PayPal only charges $1.80 unless you're in VIP status... or it's totally free if you've reached VIP!
When you hit the ATM, always choose the USD conversion rate instead of whatever rate the bank tries to push on you—otherwise, they could easily cheat you out of $10-$15 per withdrawal!
Importing from China in Business, Accounting & Taxes ·
Donna Kim4 said:Hi everyone!
I'm looking to pick up something from China for personal use—it's about $150 and weighs somewhere between 50 and 100 lbs. The catch is that shipping alone is coming out to roughly $2,000! Does anyone have any advice? I was wondering if there's a way to find someone who already imports goods and might have some extra space in a container they could share. I'm in no rush, so timing isn't an issue. Thanks in advance!

From what I understand, you can definitely opt for shared containers—basically, you just rent a portion of the space—so you shouldn't end up spending a fortune. It all really boils down to the volume you're taking up, but I'd imagine it wouldn't exceed $100, maybe even much less! What you're looking at right now is almost certainly air freight, given that shipping by plane can easily run you $10 or more per kilo.
If you happen to be in New York City, try reaching out to folks on those local import forums or even check near Jefferson; they're constantly bringing things in from China and might be able to help you out.
