Should I update my printer's factory firmware?
in IT Support ·
I used to own an Epson printer that was actually intuitive; if it ran low on paper, it would just give me a heads-up, and I could simply hit OK and keep the job running. It wasn’t about being lazy, it was just less aggravating than having to physically pop the lid open every single time—which is always such a loud, clunky nuisance when you just want to finish a document. Besides, I’m not a fan of cramming the tray full all at once since I make it a point to close off the feeder slot when I'm done to keep the dust out.
