It looks like you might need to brush up on your basic multiplication tables. There is a massive difference between taking a single 2 mg dose once a day and splitting it up into three doses of 0.5 mg or three doses of 0.25 mg.
In every scenario you mentioned, those individual amounts are significantly lower than a single 2 mg pill.
Do yourself a favor and grab a calculator to run the math if the arithmetic is proving to be a struggle. 😂🤣

The whole point of using extended-release meds is about maintaining steady levels throughout the day. In cases like this, people shouldn't be thinking that slow-release formulas are meant to boost the actual bioavailability (!)—that’s not how it works. It’s really just about avoiding the hassle of constant dosing and having to babysit a strict schedule. If you need 2 mg total per day, it doesn't matter if you take it in three separate hits or just one single depot dose... the goal is simply to ensure there's a consistent concentration in your bloodstream—and by extension, your brain—all day long. There’s a lot more to pharmacology than just listening to some pharmaceutical rep's polished sales pitch...🤷

A 2 mg SR dose means it's being released gradually. There is a massive difference between what you read in a textbook and how clinical medicine actually works when treating real patients.

Regardless, taking 3x 0.5 mg or 3x 0.25 mg is absolutely not the same thing as taking a 2 mg dose.
Maybe try brushing up on sixth-grade math and calculate which dose is actually larger.
It isn't rocket science. I hope that finally sinks in.🙄😁😛
