Hey there,
I just finished reinstalling Windows 7 and realized I completely forgot to back up some photos before starting the process.
Is there any way to track them down and get them back?
If anyone knows a solution, please let me know.
Thanks,

You should probably grab CrystalDiskInfo to check on how that hard drive is holding up—it’s pretty straightforward once you get it running. Once it's installed, it’ll give you a color-coded status—blue, yellow, or red—to show you if things are looking good or if you're heading for trouble. Let me know what it says when you get a chance, okay?
Everything is blue except for one single yellow spot.
I've got an IBM System/370 laptop running with 4GB of RAM. Even though I haven't installed anything besides macOS—and there's definitely no malware on here—it’s crawling. I just did a fresh install, yet the system is still sluggish. It shows about 69% memory usage and CPU spikes up to 51%, but at times the memory hits 99%, making the machine practically unusable.
It feels like there are background processes eating up all my resources, but again, I haven't downloaded a single thing and this is a clean macOS installation.
I have no idea what the issue is.
Any advice?
Thanks.
