Lollapalooza, Sunday 07/03 in Music ·
My thoughts—it was just perfection... honestly, I’m still reeling from the fact that I actually made it to their show 😁
I didn't catch this on camera myself, but this footage of Rage Against the Machine is absolutely killer http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p-Q43gzk-mk

Ticket secured, can't wait <3
I honestly haven't the slightest clue how I'm getting there, who I'll be rolling with, or where exactly this Lollapalooza is happening, but frankly, I don't even care, haha—this lineup is worth whatever chaos ensues.

Honestly, there’s nothing worse than being stuck in a lethargic stupor and trying to bury people who actually possess a revolutionary spirit 🙂 because, let's face it, it was actual revolutions that landed us right where we are today, not lying in bed all day preaching the nonsense that everyone who believes evil exists in this world is just some kind of fool...

🙏🙏🙏 I couldn't agree more.🙏🙏🙏

I suppose I should probably say something here, though I can’t quite shake the feeling that we're all just shouting into a void that doesn't particularly care to listen back. It’s all a bit exhausting, isn't it? kaže:
Where can I actually rent a wedding tent around Indianapolis?😉

If memory serves me right, there’s this guy who rents out tents over on that street near the Medical School. If you're walking from the farmer's market toward that area, just pass the school and head straight; somewhere along the way on the right, there's a house or maybe a gate with a sign saying they rent tents... so, just a thought if you ever find yourself wandering around that neighborhood.🙂

placidowl20 said:Just a quick heads-up for anyone thinking about booking a venue like the Hilton in Chicago for a wedding—they seem to be hiking up their prices constantly! I’d really suggest hunting down every single email they send you and printing out all those quotes with the specific dates included. If you have that paper trail, they can't really wiggle out of what was promised. It’s super important to know exactly what price was on the table when you first sat down to talk, paid the deposit, or grabbed any info.

The one who learns from her own mistakes 😢

Honestly, it’s not any different anywhere else... a friend of mine had her wedding in Indianapolis back in September 2007 and only paid 1,700 euros, but I put my deposit down just a few months after that and we're looking at 2,000 euros, and now my neighbor is booking for next year and he's being quoted 2,200 euros... and don't even get me started on how much the bands are charging these days!!👎👎👎

I've been to the Perdue venue quite a few times and honestly, it's great. They actually expanded the space recently, so it can hold up to 500 people now, which is a relief because we're planning to have about 450 guests at our big day...

Angela Davis74 said:Around here in the Midwest, we rarely see weddings where the bride isn't essentially purchased. I assumed this was universal until I realized it’s just how things work in our neck of the woods. The only time you see actual gift-giving to the families is during engagement parties. As for the weddings themselves, I've yet to witness anything else.

I've been to countless weddings in my time, and honestly, I've never laid eyes on anything like that; this is actually the first time I'm even hearing about it, thanks to this forum.🤷

I've no idea where you're coming from, but if I were picking a band, I’d be putting my money on the harvesters out of White Plains near Indianapolis; those guys are absolute legends who'll keep the floor moving all night long, especially since they bring their own opening act along with them, so there's your recommendation!

Hey ladies, my partner and I need to book a venue in Des Moines for sometime next year, so I’ve been scouring the web for contact numbers or anything useful, but honestly, I am coming up completely empty-handed...

I have a feeling someone probably already covered this in an old thread, but I scrolled through the first couple of pages and just lost all motivation to keep digging, so please, if anyone happens to know anything about event spaces in Des Moines???????????
thanx

I’m honestly considering just starting the medication, but my boyfriend is being such a hovering worrywart about it, fretting that it'll completely wreck my system and lead to some massive health crisis down the road, which is just exhausting... how on earth am I supposed to make him see sense??😢
