Joshua Anderson11 said:I'm actually hosting mine over at Đermo in Tenj—you can check out my Facebook profile for details—it's quite affordable. You might also want to look into the venue owned by Petra and Anna, as it's essentially the same style...

It’s true that both halls are great, but I think you might be mistaken about who owns what. Peter and Anna’s venue is actually owned by the Fratelli catering company, whereas the Đeram hall is separate. Regardless, both locations are high quality and won't break the bank.

Jesse Morgan73 said:Well, I actually put down a deposit for both the Green Roof and the Quattro for October 8th of next year, so I guess I am exactly that 🤣 type of person. Though, I have to admit, I'm feeling a little skeptical. Ten months is a long wait, and I'm worried the weather might turn cold by then. Everyone keeps telling me it's actually the perfect time because you avoid those brutal summer heatwaves without hitting the freezing temperatures, so... yeah...🤷 But I suppose the big decision is made. Now I just need a photographer. I'm thinking about calling a guy over at Studio 69 in Small Town, USA this coming Monday to see if he's available..

Mine is set for October 9th of this year, so I'll let you know how it goes!🙂 🙂
It shouldn't be cold, but honestly, you can never really tell. For instance, last year September was rainy and freezing, yet October turned out to be absolutely beautiful.
You won't truly know anything until the day itself, right?🤷 🤷 🤷

Angela Davis74 said:It is time to make a decision and place that order. The good ones disappear instantly. 🙂

I told my mom it was already getting late in the day, but thankfully we managed to get a hold of Granny's Rest 🙂
We’re planning to head over there this week to place our order and finally get everything wrapped up. 😍😍

Angela Davis74 said:The pastries from Main Street are superior. At every wedding I've attended where they served them, the platters were cleared within thirty minutes. They disappear instantly. It isn't just about paying $22/kg; when you see a tray holding 36 pieces weighing over 1.2 kg, you realize the value. 🙂

Oh, Angela Davis74, you're really making this a difficult choice for me! 🙄
I think I might end up pulling a card from a deck just to decide which bakery to go with. 🤣
How far in advance did you all usually place your dessert orders? Or does anyone know when the ideal time would be to get that finalized? 🤷
My wedding is set for October 9th.

I saw the photos—thanks for letting me know! 🙂
Your cake was absolutely lovely; it was simple, yet managed to be quite striking 😁
By the way, you looked stunning too. You were exactly how a bride should be: carefree, smiling, and just full of life. 😁😁😁😁

Their pricing per pound is actually decent too... $18Down in Ruščica... $23 I don't even know where to start with this one... just a total mess. Honestly, I'm still trying to wrap my head around how things actually work out here. It’s all just a bit much sometimes... anyway, moving on.

thanks Tim. They told me back in Russia that they were $22, but my mom insisted on trying something else. Honestly, I think I'll just stick with Beam; I really don't feel like driving all the way to a city like Chicago 😉

Maybelline is fine if you're just looking for something quick, but honestly, I feel like most drugstore brands are starting to lose their edge lately. Christian Taylor8 says:
Is Slatkica registered as a small business, and how many pounds of cake are we talking about?
We can take this to DMs if you want. 😉
My mom picked up some bridesmaids for my sister from a woman out in San Diego this past fall—I think it was somewhere near the coast, I'm not exactly sure since I've never spent much time out that way.😍The cookies were incredible, too. I really wanted to grab some from her, but she doesn't have a registered small business, and I need the receipt for my records. 🙄

The small business is all registered and good to go, but I’m still second-guessing the pricing since they factored it into the sale... though I have this nagging feeling someone mentioned it earlier. $23I might have messed up the math on the price per pound. Anyway, I'll shoot you a DM with the actual number so you can double-check it yourself.

I was told the rate is $22/lb, so hopefully that helps someone out 🙂
In a small town in the Midwest, it's $18/lb.
Both businesses are officially registered, and I still haven't quite made up my mind regarding 🤷
Ladies, how far in advance did you all usually place your dessert orders?

Christian Taylor8 said:I’ve never actually tried any baked goods from B. Greda, though I’ve heard nothing but glowing reviews about them.
As for Sprinkles, I’m a total regular—they provided the treats for my wedding, and honestly, I can't find a single thing to complain about.
The cake was absolutely massive and delicious, and the cookies? They were gone in a flash... basically, I could go on forever about how good they are, but the real proof would be a photo of all those empty plates and the cake stand.

Haha, now I’m even more torn! 😍
My own mother wants slatkicin’s, but my future mother-in-law is leaning toward B. Greda. To make matters more complicated, they’re both leaving the final call up to me.
aaaaaaaaaaaaaa 😕 😕 😕 😕

I have a bit of a dilemma regarding dessert, and I’m having a hard time choosing. I can't quite decide between picking up treats from a small town in the Midwest or something from a small town in the South near Pittsburgh (specifically near a small mountain town). Some people swear by one, while others insist the other is much better 🤷 Since I'm not very familiar with either area, I'm feeling a little lost. Would you mind sharing your own experiences, thoughts, or perhaps some recommendations to help me settle this?
Many thanks 🙂

Maria Ramirez4 said:Hey, that's the venue over on El Paso. It changed hands a few months back. It's nothing fancy, but it’s clean, organized, and the food and service are actually solid. I think I heard somewhere the price is $50 per person for both dinners. If you dig up more details, let me know.😍

An acquaintance of mine is hosting a wedding around July in that area, so we should hear all about it firsthand. To be honest, I don't find any of the banquet halls in Indianapolis particularly spectacular, and this one doesn't seem to differ much in terms of cost. If the food is decent and there are no hidden catches, I think it would be perfectly fine. 🙂

I wouldn't recommend trying to pick up everything you need while you're out in Appalachia. Their suits are actually fantastic, but if you want to save some money, you can definitely find better deals elsewhere—I've looked into it myself. Honestly, if you’re looking for shirts, cufflinks, or even a vest, you'll get much better value shopping in the States. You'll likely end up with the exact same quality as what they have in Appalachia, but at a much more reasonable price point. $500It's really just a matter of where you get the full
set.

placidowl20 said:Does anyone know what a reasonable price for a wedding suit would be in Brooklyn? Or maybe in Indianapolis?
They seem pretty pricey in NYC, but I'm thinking we might find the exact same suit in Indy for a better deal.. 😉

Those prices usually cover just the $1167.
Keep in mind, that’s strictly for the suit itself—it doesn't include the shirt, the vest, or any other accessories.
I suspect those same price points apply in New York as well.

Hello, I’ve been lurking here for quite a while without really having anything to ask, but since we should probably start locking in our reservations soon, I wanted to see if anyone has any insight regarding the Sphere arena in Indianapolis (I'm not even sure if that's the right name).
Thanks so much for any help you can provide.
