I don't know who gave me the tip, but someone on a forum mentioned everything there was a total steal. Honestly? I am beyond disappointed. I went in looking for those little edible toppers for cake decorations—you know, the ones you put on top of a fancy cake. And get this, that absolute nonsense cost me $93. Like, seriously?? It’s such a joke. And nothing about it felt cheap. Even getting some helium filled for balloons was $1.75. It’s just all so overpriced. Maybe I'm being a bit extra, but in my book, those little figurines are way too expensive, the selection is pretty pathetic, and the staff? Ugh. They barely even give you a nod, let alone actually help you out. So yeah, Vegas gets zero stars from me. 😢
I had a similar experience in Vegas. Everyone kept telling me to head over there to grab what I needed, but I ended up totally disappointed and walked out empty-handed. Just saving you the trip.
Ladies, where are you planning to take photos? Do you have a spot picked out yet? Our old downtown area is getting a little played out; everyone takes their pictures there...
Iris—around 4,500$1667... that setup for the head table$500....
I'll let you know about the rest later
Sun, thanks a ton! It doesn't necessarily have to be from Des Moines, but I've heard everything is cheaper over there, so that's why I was asking. I checked out Iris, but I don't know, felt pretty pricey to me.
Anyone here from Des Moines? Looking for a good flower shop recommendation. Also, does anyone know anything about photo studio M! Thanks!
Anyone here actually dealt with them before?

Thanks 🙂
I’ve seen them play a few times, at weddings and stuff, and they were great. They're young, too... definitely know how to get a crowd moving.
Nicole Cox said:My godmother does amazing makeup, but she lives in Washington, D.C. (though she's originally from Jacksonville), and she’s actually the one doing my makeup for a wedding. She’s fantastic—you look like you walked out of a pro studio, yet her rates are totally reasonable. I’m just not sure if she’ll be in Orlando/Jacksonville around the time your wedding is happening. Shoot me a private message if you want her info. You can look her up on Meta under Ksenia Ivancic Brkic to check out her portfolio.
Also, there's a great esthetician in Jacksonville named Marina; both she and her assistant do incredible work. They've done my makeup several times now and I've never once regretted it.
Thanks so much!
Ladies, I need some help here!
Does anyone have makeup artist recommendations? Looking for someone good... any leads?!
Robert Nelson8 said:👍 Helen Marijanovic did my makeup for my wedding too. I don't usually wear much makeup—often nothing at all—so she did a truly phenomenal job making sure I looked great while still looking like myself. 😉
I highly recommend her. My only issue was that whenever I tried to call her back for other weddings I attended, she was already booked up. However, she recommended two other girls to me, and I actually still use one of them for important events today. If anyone needs her number, just send me a DM...
Could you please send me Helen's number? Thanks so much
Hey ladies, does anyone happen to have the number for that lady in Small Town, USA who makes those wedding cakes? Thanks a ton!!

Seriously though, does anyone know where—or even if it's possible—to order chair covers online? I'm based out in the Midwest, and I've got this wedding coming up... The chairs themselves are actually really pretty... they're wooden and well-crafted... but now I'm torn between buying actual seat cushions or just trying to go with chair covers... Covers feel a bit more formal, I guess, but whatever is faster and won't break the bank is what I'm leaning toward...
Can anyone please help me out here?? 😉😉
Thanks a million!!
