Jesse Campbell said:Good grief, I am not some UFC fighter. My intention is to head to the game, cheer for my club and the national team, grab some drinks, and just have a good time. If someone decides to pick a fight with me, well, I’ll defend myself. But that certainly won't be happening out in some random field, unless the stadium is somehow located in the middle of a massive meadow. And I haven't seen one of those yet.

I am never going to carry around clubs, knives, or anything of the sort because I am attending a sporting event, not heading off to war. However, if I am sitting in a pub enjoying a beer and a crowd suddenly attacks me, I will absolutely use whatever is within reach to protect myself.

Back when I used to go to games, BBB didn't even exist, let alone any of these guys from Poland, Russia, or those trained hooligan types. People went to the matches for the sake of the club, not for some gang, chaos, or riots. Even today, I go to the games for the club, and if some trained 20-year-old comes at me while I'm just sitting there sipping my beer, I am definitely going to defend myself with whatever is handy.

Amen.

A little hypocritical, wouldn't you say?😁

From the most beautiful fan philosophy on the planet to just letting things slide behind your back—how lovely.😍

The BBB acts like they're the moral police for all the clubs (mostly just a bunch of posers😉).
The Ultras and the Badgers fans act like they can't stand each other, but in reality, they're working with syndicates from overseas to smuggle everything from illicit substances to people.
The Demons are out there stealing stuff in Trieste and Italy, then smuggling it back here.
The Armadi are just donating money because they're Mexican.😉

That’s the real story behind the major leagues, while everyone else is just small-time criminals.

Way to go on signing up!!!

That sign from a Small town in the Midwest is legendary, so quit the nonsense...

Oh? And what if you suddenly decided that being "serious" wasn't so fun anymore?

then you would fit right in as the quintessential forum hooligan 🤣

Maybe you caught it on TV or some livestream where the turnout jumped from a pathetic 233 to a respectable 737? Your first instinct was clearly to jump onto this forum after the Lakers-Warriors game—a game you obviously didn't even attend—and now you're getting swept up in all this euphoria about how the Black Knights are "once again the greatest in the universe." Honestly, I have a sneaking suspicion you haven't witnessed a single real derby outside of the chaos at the Rose Bowl...

Regarding the soundscape of the Black Knights' cheering: no matter how loud they get, to anyone with even a shred of musical sensibility, it’s just a direct assault on the central nervous system. It is monotonous and frankly quite dull. You don't feel fanaticism; ninety minutes of screaming is, in my opinion, completely pointless. But hey, I suppose there's no sense in arguing over personal taste...

Cheers!
