Well, I was just browsing through some random listings, so nothing really hit the mark or even came close to what I'm actually looking for. I suppose I'll have to check jobs and career instead. 👍

I hold a clear title on my property, and frankly, I wouldn't even consider venturing into something like this if I didn't have that leverage. So, securing a mortgage shouldn't be an issue. 😉
As far as steady income goes, I'm starting from scratch. Regarding co-signers, I could pull in my entire family if necessary, though my real ambition is to pull this off entirely on my own—if only to finally achieve some semblance of independence. Since I’m finishing up my second year of part-time studies, the timing actually works out perfectly, giving me just enough runway to handle the necessary renovations. I've been advised to let a management agency handle the rentals for the first year before taking the reins myself. We all have high-speed internet, and I'm reasonably proficient in foreign languages, though if communication ever hits a snag, we have "Google Translate" 😁 to bail us out.

One last thing, if you don't mind: is there a specific thread on this forum regarding those small business loans designed for young entrepreneurs? If you could point me toward a link, I'd appreciate it, as I realize I've already wandered quite far into the off-topic sections. Thanks in advance! 🙂

So, here’s my situation: I’m a full-time student with special needs—meaning, I am personally footing the bill for my education—and I’m wondering if I can take out a student loan that isn't strictly earmarked for tuition. I'm looking for something to fund a different kind of venture, though I'm not talking about basic living expenses like rent or clothes; I want to launch a business. Specifically, I'm thinking about starting an LLC. To give you some numbers, I would need roughly $100,000 - $50000 to fund a renovation on a property that I intend to convert into a rental unit. What are your thoughts on this approach? Given that I currently have zero income, is it even remotely possible to secure a mortgage against that same property, or...?? 😕
I am completely out of my depth here, so I would be incredibly grateful for any advice you might have!!
