Help!! My house is being stripped of its siding!!!! in Hobbies & Leisure ·
It’s honestly a tragedy when you have a thirteen-year-old kid out there having to obsessively track their sugar intake just to stay healthy...
What are your thoughts on Natasha Kampusch? in Psychology ·
Man, the whole thing just feels off...

Being held captive for eight years and then, after just one week of freedom, jumping straight into interviews, selling off book rights, and pitching movie deals... I mean, you spend eight years stuck in a tiny room and then step in front of the cameras and act all composed? Look, she’s clearly smart, but I find it hard to swallow how seamless her communication is. She basically spent nearly a decade talking to exactly one person. How many geniuses out there have struggled to even hold a conversation with a stranger simply because they rarely left their basement or stayed cooped up at home? Yet here she is, emerging from a cellar and absolutely killing it in every press circuit. What did she learn about social skills, watching TV?
The whole situation is shady as hell.
Are you happy with your current training routine? in Martial Arts & Combat Sports ·
satisfied,fkors...
The training sessions are actually pretty interesting—solid crew, too. But honestly? The real kicker is that I can actually feel myself getting better from one session to the next. To me, that’s the whole game. If you don't see that tangible progress, what's even the point? That's where the motivation comes from.

I mean, look, if I wasn't feeling it, I would have walked away a long time ago.😁

I mean, yeah... you need that motivation, especially when summer hits. We’re doing a bit of work, mostly just drilling the stuff we picked up during those more intense sessions back in the spring. Our coach was actually thinking about shutting down the gym for the season, but he kept it open for a small group of us who really wanted to push through the summer months. Honestly, it’s a lifesaver for staying in shape because once autumn rolls around, things are going to get absolutely brutal.😁

By the way, all those tracks you guys mentioned are killer. I’ve always been more into that progressive metal and rock vibe, but seriously, every single one of those songs is top-tier. Thanks, everyone.

Look, fine. I take my training seriously, alright? I put in the work. Maybe from the outside, it looks like we just crank up the music and turn every session into some laid-back jam session, but that’s not the case at all. If anything, the music helps us get better results—we’re getting positive feedback because the energy is higher and the atmosphere is just... better. It works.

Peter Myers29 said:If you ask me, music is strictly for shows or demonstrations, not for actual training... I mean, are you hitting the gym to listen to tunes or to actually master a skill?

Oh, please, give me a break with the music talk!😁
From what I can tell, you’d probably rather hike up some mountain in the Rockies just to meditate to the sound of the wind while you "learn."😬
What's wrong with music? It actually keeps the energy up!
Besides, let's be real—Thai boxing isn't some hyper-focused discipline like Wing Chun where you have to be 100% dialed in every single second of the minute.

Thanks everyone, I finally grabbed those files and they’re killer. Honestly, looking at the whole spread, Paul Cruz8's selection hits the spot best for me... man, you gotta drop more like this soon.👍

I'm trying to put together a killer playlist for my workouts and I could really use some input from you guys...
What's that one track that actually gets your blood pumping and keeps you moving?
Specifically, I need stuff for kickboxing sessions... heavy hitters only.

If you have recommendations for songs or artists that hit like these, let me know:
Chemical Brothers - Blood Rockin Beats
Chemical Brothers - Rock the House (Prodigy remix)
Run DMC - It's Like That
Prodigy - Smack My Bitch Up (Fatboy Slim Remix)
Scorpions - Mortal Kombat

Thanks.👍
