It’s pretty weird that this model is only showing up at Micro Center. Even on Amazon it says it's out of stock, and they're basically the main importers for ASUS.🤔
I've heard that keeping their inventory updated isn't exactly Micro Center's strong suit.🤷

I was thinking about grabbing that ASUS card up there from Micro Center, but I don't know, I'm a little hesitant to just drop the cash online. I much prefer ordering stuff that shows up at my door so I can just hand the delivery guy the money.

AMD Athlon II x4 640 processor and my power supply is a 460W LC POWER Silent Giant GREEN POWER LC6460GP3 V2.3.

I can only find the XFX version with a single fan for the AMD Radeon R7 260X, which feels like a bad sign. How are the AMD Radeon R7 360 cards? There's way more variety there.

I checked out this EVGA card, but I read somewhere that the fans tend to squeal. I also saw some stuff about ASUS fans giving people trouble too.

I play all sorts of games! Mostly platformers and 3rd person adventures. My old card handled Tomb Raider, Assassin's Creed 3, Resident Evil 6, and Sleeping Dogs on medium without any issues! I run a CRT monitor at 1024x768 resolution.
It doesn't need to be maxed out. 😁 I'm not that kind of gamer!
And yeah, definitely GDDR5. I always look for that because there's no point in buying anything less these days! I figured since I'm buying something new, I might as well step up to something slightly better, especially since cards similar to my old one are already going for around $83.
The MSI 250 x is pricier $33, even at AMD! But it really does have better performance. 🤔 I still need to think about it, though. It's pushing my budget a bit!
