Just keep doing what makes you happy—but, hey, if you feel like you're going overboard, maybe just tap the brakes so you don't end up making a massive mistake you'll regret later. Don't look at the past like it's some debt you have to pay back; that was just one chapter of your life that had to happen (clearly it had to pass for a reason), so now just LIVE and try not to overdo anything.

Yeah... though I definitely made a few dumb moves along the way. But like you said, everything happens for a reason, I guess. I'm not even worried—I'm just trying to wrap my head around the whole phenomenon. I sat down and really thought about it, and man... I don't know. Was it hormones? A late bloom? It’s just that after basically being isolated for eighteen years, suddenly being dropped into a totally different world—without any warning or heads-up—is a lot to process.

You suddenly get this burst of confidence that isn't quite "adult" yet, and honestly, I can see why it's stressing you out since you feel like you're overdoing it or hogging the spotlight sometimes.
It’s just a sign you still feel that need to prove yourself, which is totally normal (just watch out for people who might get salty because you're outshining them)
It's like that whole "ugly duckling" thing—you were the shy one, and now that you've finally found your wings, you're still figuring out how to fly without crashing a bit.
Embrace this new version of yourself, but don't lose the old one either—you're probably still that quiet girl who'd rather curl up with a good book than hit the club.
(Personally, I think that's a major plus)
Just blend the two, find that sweet spot, and enjoy the ride!

Alright, there are more of us out here... yeah, I definitely go overboard sometimes, but it's never on purpose. Because of that, I've actually ended up with a fair number of women who can't stand me now—which is a totally new experience for me. But look, I never had an issue with girls who stood out back in the day. If anything, I admired them. So, I really hate it when people try to write me off because of it. Some people are just small-minded... you gotta expect that.
Yeah, balance is everything.

Jerry Martinez5 said:Why stop entirely if it works for you? I think just slowing down a bit is enough—gives you a chance to actually see where you're at, what you’re doing, and how it all connects back to what you actually want out of life.

Give yourself some grace to mess up once in a while; we're only human. Honestly, anything's better than just sitting locked up at home whining about it.👍

I'm with you on that. Things feel way better this way—and no, I'm not looking to stop completely, just to slow down. This whole "new me" thing is honestly exhausting.😉 I'm mostly just posting because watching this total transformation is wild—this sudden mental shift that just happened out of nowhere. Part of me is even a little scared that I might snap again one day...

So, here's my first post 🙂

Alright, here's the deal. I'm 19, and back in high school, I was—hands down—the most introverted kid you could meet. Like, seriously. I'd only talk if someone specifically asked me something, always staying on the sidelines... I didn't go out much, either; instead of hitting up Starbucks with friends, I'd just stay home and read. And guys? They felt like some unreachable species to me. Total weirdo vibes, according to everyone else.
I didn't put much effort into my look, either. Honestly, it made me pretty miserable because my true self was never getting a chance to come out. Because deep down? I was actually a total wild card.

Then, something shifted..
About a year and a half ago, something just clicked. Actually, it wasn't even a conversation—I just suddenly flipped the script. Now? I’m easily the loudest person in the room. I’m always the one leading the conversation. I go out constantly. I've got guys lining up left and right. It’s not even that I’m "open"—it's more like I'm totally unfiltered. I talk way too much. I cause all sorts of drama. I'm even doing professional modeling now. It feels great because it finally feels like *me*. The only thing is, I might have gone a bit overboard—my impulses are running the show lately, and I think I need to learn how to tap the brakes a little.

Oh, and yeah, I used to be riddled with insecurities, but now my confidence is through the roof.

So, what I'm wondering is: what actually happens in your brain to make you suddenly face the world in a completely different way?
It’s like I swung from one extreme straight to the other.
Did any of you guys go through these kinds of massive transformations at certain stages in your lives?
Because the core version of who I am hasn't changed—just the volume.
And lastly, how do I reel it in? How do I calm down a bit when I feel like I'm trying to make up for all those lost years in one go?
