Blackie said:I hit up a wedding at the Marriott back in July.

The place was decked out, right by the coast, and they’ve got those clean white linens...👍

Got any pics? Also, what's the damage on the chair rentals at the Marriott?

And honestly, almost every place does white tablecloths these days, even if they're just rentals!
Prices are pretty much stuck at around $35-$40 everywhere, though hotels will bump it up to like $55-$65. That usually covers everything—a few courses and drinks like wine or soda. They never include hard liquor in the price, but you can always bring your own.

She lives in Germany now, but her family is originally from San Diego.

Then you've got places like "Ann," "Margarita," and "Tamaris." There are also several hotels that work perfectly as reception halls, such as "Kolovare," "Donat," "Pinija," and "Mediterranean."
Now, are you looking for specific reviews from people who've used these venues, or do you have a different set of criteria in mind? Feel free to ask!

She’s basically dreaming of somewhere near the ocean with white tablecloths... I want to know what people actually think of these places and which hall you'd personally vouch for. Also, what kind of damage are we talking about price-wise for each spot, and what does the menu actually include?

Anyone got a solid recommendation for a wedding venue or restaurant around San Diego or the surrounding areas?
Thanks
