The commercialization of everything in Hobbies & Leisure ·
It feels like every time a major sporting event gets bigger, the amount of junk advertised during the breaks just gets more aggressive. I miss when things felt a bit more wholesome and less like a massive marketing opportunity for high-caffeine or high-alcohol brands. Is anyone else getting tired of the constant push to sell us "lifestyle" products during the games we love?

I just can't face it—the idea of putting that wedding dress back on, doing the makeup, and fixing my hair all over again a day or two later? No thanks! But hey, if that's what someone wants, go for it. 👍

Fair enough.
The problem is, things always run late—it's practically a rule. That "one hour" window frequently shrinks down to a frantic 20 minutes.
Sure, 20 minutes might be enough for some decent snaps, but don't expect variety. You won't get that sequence of shots in the hotel lobby, then a few downtown, then the scenic cliffside, followed by the beach, etc. You get what you get.

To each their own...

The ones I see in my dreams? Definitely not.

In my opinion—and I’m fairly certain about this—it's much better to get that done a few days before or after the big event.

Looking at photos online, that’s just the logical conclusion. Personally, I think their wedding shots came out way better than Stefano ????!!!!'s—though, obviously, that's subjective. You probably don't care about the technical specs, though.

As for Art Studio, I've seen a few of their shoots and I am genuinely impressed—both the stills and the video. They really nail the execution.
Just be prepared to get dressed up and do hair and makeup all over again for those staged portraits; you simply can't pull off that kind of shoot on the actual wedding day. There's zero time for it—not to mention the nerves and jitters will definitely play a part.

But I have a quick question for you all

Is it actually a lot $3667 just for a photographer?

I'm talking about Stefano F.

Honestly, for that kind of cash, you're better off hiring
Art Studio ( www.art-studio.tv )
or maybe Spinaker... ( www.spinakergraphics.com )
Peter Baker57 said:Does anyone happen to know the rates for Ivica Lisjak and Studio In over in Solina?

And what exactly does that cover?

I’m looking for their number, so if anyone has it, please send it my way. Thanks.🙂

By the way, Photo California is charging 1000€ for the full set. They aren't half bad compared to the ones I was browsing earlier...

Ivica Lisjak

Studio IN

Mirjana
Matic (don't have his contact info, but someone will probably chime in...

Photo Marko (Zvoniti and Anthony are your best bets for photos, plus Jako and that other tattooed guy from Canada for video)

My advice? Don't skimp on the photo and video—you're stuck with those memories for life, and the price difference isn't even that massive...
bar with the ones listed above.
