I’ve actually heard of National Geographic before, and I’ve seen some of their work—two of my girlfriends used them. One had her big day on July 19, 2008, and the other was back on September 15, 2007. To be fair, their photos were decent (it was a woman photographer, I can try to dig up her name), but nothing mind-blowing... just pretty standard... I'm not quite sure what you're looking for specifically... For me, I'm leaning towards Kodak. They and Ivica Lisjak were my top picks, but since Ivica is already booked for our date, Kodak is the plan. Their crew includes Mike as the photographer, John as the videographer... plus another photographer from the Kodak team whose name escapes me for a second... I can scan the thank-you note from their sessions tonight and send it over to you... just so you can see... the shots were good, but honestly, personally, I wasn't totally blown away, though their pricing is pretty reasonable... they were around $700-$800 back then. Hope that helps you out a little bit, let me know if you need anything else...

So, I was at this party last night over in Dover (in one of the smaller halls), and they had Live Nation playing. They were seriously awesome! I actually stayed at the Presidential Hotel about two or three years ago, and while the food was decent enough, it wasn't exactly anything to write home about... plus, the newlyweds were totally complaining about the drink prices. Since you have to pay for everything separately, the final tab ends up being pretty steep...
So, when we were scouting for a venue about a month back, they actually quoted us the Bolero 39 Euro rate for February 14th, 2009, but the room was already snatched up with a deposit. Man, they sure know how to make a buck... they bumped the price up by 3 bucks per chair in just a single month.

Around 200 or so, what about you? Did you end up finding that hall yet?

Dropped by the Castle today to check things out. They’ve set the price for next year at about $38 per person, so we finally made a call on a new venue! Our date for the first dance is July 26th of this year. The Caper is pretty low, just around $667 or maybe $320... honestly, the lady running the place is super sweet. Out of all the spots we've toured so far, she was actually the only one who offered us juice and cookies while we were there, which was such a nice little surprise. You can also work out some custom details with them, like bringing your own prosciutto, wine, or even a lamb for the feast...

Raymond Brooks7 said:POMAK is over by Stinic... it's actually a sports complex with a gym, badminton courts, and all that. They have two halls—one small, one larger. Honestly, I haven't set foot in the big one myself because people were always busy playing badminton, but I've seen some photos online.

Does anyone happen to have any pictures posted here on the forum so I can check them out?

Thomas Sanchez532 said:I heard they’re charging about $35 over at Castle. It probably just depends on what you end up ordering from the menu, though.

I'll head over there and check it out myself, then I'll let you guys know what the deal is. Thanks anyway! 🙂

Hey there... just wanted to throw in that I'm looking at those Phoenix mashed potato servers from the Dover plant, specifically the 32 E model with the covers. Also, does anyone have the scoop on the capacity for the Castle hall? And does anyone know where that POMAK restaurant is located? thanks...
