Hey everyone else dealing with this same mess, haha. Dealing with hemorrhoids is seriously such a drag. I’ve had them flare up again after a long time, but now I’m stuck because I haven't been able to go to the bathroom for four days straight. Every time I even try to have a bowel movement, the pain is intense. Does anyone know a way I can soften things up before I try again? Thanks!🙂

Look, "fluid in the abdomen" is often the first red flag for some really serious issues, like liver cirrhosis or even certain types of cancer that might take a year or two to fully manifest. Pay the money for a specialist and go get a THOROUGH medical workup. Trust me, nobody just has "random fluid in their belly" out of nowhere... I’m telling you this from personal family experience; that’s exactly what we were told. And then a girl, only 28, passed away. I don't want to scare you, but ignore their quick fixes and keep pushing until you find out what's actually going on.

This could actually be heart-related, so you should definitely get your blood pressure checked. If your pressure is running high, there's a good chance it's your heart acting up.
Coincidentally, taking medication for hemorrhoids actually helped me because they have a slight diuretic effect. That ended up lowering my blood pressure and helping with the swelling automatically. Once I stopped taking them, the symptoms came right back... at the end of the day, it's likely your heart—everything stems from that—or maybe your kidneys.

Hey everyone, where you at?
In every state, the Super Bowl is basically a national holiday. Tickets are impossible to find. But here in the US, the championship game between the Los Angeles Dodgers and the New York Yankees only drew 6,000 fans. The stadium looked hauntingly empty. Instead of an unforgettable atmosphere, it was a game you just want to forget.
It started with the national anthem. We all stood up out of respect, just like you're supposed to do. There were three girls sitting right in front of me. Two of them stood up, but the third one just stayed seated, smoking. Everyone was staring at her. Once the anthem finished, being the oldest guy there, I said to her, "Young lady, when the anthem is playing, you should stand up." She just turned around and snapped at me, "This isn't even my anthem, so why should I show any respect?" Those of us watching just looked at each other. I mean, seriously, who raises a kid to have zero respect for the anthem of the country they live in? Who were her parents, her teachers, her professors? Who is pushing this kind of radicalism onto the youth? You don't have to love everything about your country, but in moments like this, you owe it to everyone else to show basic decency, even if it's just by standing up. That moment totally ruined the vibe of the big game for me.
