Is life actually easier if you're good-looking? in Psychology ·

and honestly, that just makes sense to me.

I feel like looks are kind of a double-edged sword, you know? It really just comes down to how much you lean into it, because it can definitely give you that initial boost to get ahead in life and stuff.

But personally, I don't think it has much to do with actual happiness—at least not enough to make being good-looking a shortcut to feeling fulfilled.
it’s way easier to be happy if you've just got your head on straight...

I'm totally with Douglas Brown4 on this one👍 ...beauty isn't everything, really, it's more about who you are deep down... I actually know tons of people who aren't exactly supermodels or anything, just regular, everyday folks, but they have this certain "something" about them,,, like they just radiate this vibe and naturally draw people in... they do great in life, they're social, they can talk to anyone,, and it's mostly because they don't sweat the small stuff or get caught up in stupid things.😉 😉 It's kind of silly to even try to categorize everyone as "hot" or "ugly," since beauty is so subjective anyway,,, what I find attractive might not be the same for you and vice versa,,, plus, just throwing a smile out there will probably make your day better regardless!🙂
