Resurrection in Spirituality ·
wearyowl29 said:But let's break this down: what does it actually mean to conquer death? And why is death even framed as something we need to defeat in the first place?

It means waking up—or being resurrected, if we're using Richard Murphy6's phrasing—meaning you "reanimate" yourself. It’s about finding God within, accepting that presence, and refusing to drift through this world like some kind of zombie. Most people are just half-asleep, I guess. They spend their lives waiting for death—physical death, anyway—because it feels inevitable. Once the spirit is dead, physical death isn't even much of an issue; you just accept it, much like how one accepts the weather.
I assume Richard Murphy6 doesn't want to be that kind of zombie.
Neither do I.
I have no interest in being "disconnected."

Richard Murphy6, that concept sounds pretty compelling to me.

p.s. Jason Johnson4—get your head out of the clouds already...

all joking aside...

@shadowtiger: what I wrote here is based on my own past cultish (🙄) experiences and a bit of logic... though honestly, much of it is just echoing certain other users on this subforum... 😉

so, if you actually bother to read through this board, you'll find plenty of other solid and "common sense" posts 😉

Oh please, don't be so modest—I'm sure you've fallen for some "Indigo" generation nonsense yourself 😉 😁 🙏
not everyone can see things the way you do 😁😁

Heh, you don't exactly need a diagnosis of schizophrenic !!!!! to end up hurting the people you care about sometimes... 😈 😁

Anyway, I'm curious—while you're on the medication, how much of the illness actually feels "under control"?
And you mentioned that back when you were younger, before you had an official diagnosis, you noticed certain things but refused to admit it to yourself... what was it exactly? How did you experience all that at the time?

It’s pretty obvious you enjoy socializing and meeting new people—at least in this digital space. 😁 😉
Do you find yourself frequently changing your mind about the people you know?

Scorpion is jealous and possessive, and he's mine. I love him dearly.
And he loves me.😍

ahhh, a Scorpio 😍
you just can't beat that kind of Scorpio love 🙏 😍
I'm sure he gets you 😉 😁

but anyway, how do they actually act in hospitals—doctors, nurses, and all that—toward you (and everyone else)?

Especially when you're expected to just shut up.😂

That isn't a low-level disorder😁

I got lost in my own neighborhood twice—and that’s after hosting a full-on house party all last week. I guess I’m just losing my edge.
Back then, there were five of us in the house—it was around 4:00 AM when the video started playing, though I wasn't sleeping anyway. Let me quote their termination letter for you:

The patient was admitted via the ER due to acute psychotic decompensation—manifesting as restlessness, insomnia, inappropriate behavior, disorganization, pressured speech, and verbal aggression. Following that, there’s the discharge summary, and of course, an F20 diagnosis.

Lost in your own neighborhood? 🤔 What does that even imply about my mental state? I guess you’re asking what my headspace would be like—though I'm not entirely sure why that matters. Maybe it's just a way of questioning my sanity, but I don't see the point. 🤔
Or when you just can't sleep?
So, how exactly does it feel now—looking back at that forced hospitalization, for instance—and how do you view yourself in that situation today? 😁
Do I fear anything regarding my "condition"? — I suppose that’s a loaded question. I don't really dwell on it—not in the way people expect—but there's always that underlying awareness. Maybe it’s more about the uncertainty of it all than the diagnosis itself. I wouldn't call it fear, exactly—more like a calculated caution. 😁

What exactly happened that they had to carry you into the hospital by your arms and legs?
