Hey there.
I've got a Dell Inspiron 15 that’s about 7 years old now, and I’m looking to reinstall the OS. It currently has some Data Recovery tools on it, so I'm wondering if running those will just roll everything back to Windows 7? If so, what's the best way to get back to Windows 10 after that?
Also, how exactly do I trigger the Data Recovery process to wipe just the C drive? I did something similar a few years back, but the steps have escaped me.

Hey, I’ve got a Dell Latitude that I recently tore down completely. I cleaned everything out, swapped the thermal paste, installed an SSD, bumped the RAM from 4GB to 8GB, and moved over to Windows 10. Despite all that, the fan is still running loud. I’ve been reading up on updating the BIOS, since mine hasn't been touched since 2012.
Anyone have any suggestions or a potential fix? 😁
